Nice course! Great presenter. Really appreciate the sound design component.

Well, not easy stuff in this one but it is very well explained. I will certainly have to redo some parts of this course to fully understand but this is not due to the teacher but to complexity of the subject.

Introducing iMovie
Aug 18, 2014
I really like the narrator, he did a great job catching my attention with his calm and easy going way. He explains everything in a simple but not childish way and for me as a semi-advanced user of the Mac I never felt that it was nothing but perfect in terms of difficulty. Really great job, so keep that up!
-Pontus Rosenlöf
Very inspiring course. Maybe the tempo of the course could have been little bit slower...
-Thomas
Fast paced, utlra cool delivery made me need to repeat several sections he covered. But his workflow explanations were complete. I'll have to revisit this tutorial once i spend a little more time on Logic. I will have forgotten many of the techniques he suggests.

Fantastic intro course to Maschine 2.0 and Studio, useful to anyone entering the world of Maschine for the first time or who wants a proper overview. Digestible chapter sizes, clear presentation from the instructor, and relevant topics all combine to make this an essential investment for anyone wanting to understand the full potential behind this amazing music making tool. Fantastic course set at a good pace. Wish I could see Olav use some of the third party plug-ins in a course - may be that is an idea to play with! lol

Best Cubase Tutorial I've done. Highly recommended even to those who think they know it all!

I bought this because I wanted to have a complete understanding of 'making' my own drums. I was never happy with my own previous attempts. Rishab takes all the clinical coldness away from my encounters with the manual on this aspect of Ultrabeat.I knew Ultrabeat...and loved it..but shied away from synthesising my own kits. I have worked through over half the tutorials already. And I am flying now. There are no ' flabby' parts here...all great tuition in a concise yet genial style. You w...

Cool people with tons of experience, tips and trick who deliver top notch...a cool song, cool sound and a fab end result ~ very inspiring!!

Thorough and clear, I've watched it several times just to soak it all in. And it helps that Paul's voice is perfectly cut out for narration - very clear and soothing. :)

Great intro to synchronous! I like how Mo Volans divides the different sections. He also has some pretty cool ideas that inspired creativity. Propellerhead should have this tutorial on the main page of their site! I think I'm not the only one who was a little intimidated when I first saw this new RE. Mo really breaks it down.

There's quite a few tricks to be learnt on mixing, but also goes around UAD plugins only. Would be very useful if you own the plugins, otherwise will just make you jealous as they are quite expensive (still way cheaper than the real thing). You can adapt some tricks to your own plugins though.

A fantastic sequel to the Kontakt courses series. This course takes the understanding of Kontakt to the next level. I had initially been contemplating buying a few plugins for particular purposes, then I watched this course and found that Kontakt actually does all those things I wanted... I've only watched just the first section and already he is fleshing out some amazing techniques that not only can be applied to just techno, but to other genres. Furthermore, he explains theory of the sound design and that is awesome too because you get a better understanding rooted from the base theory and then you can further explore from there. This is brilliant, cant wait to finish this, I am going to take it in small chunks and not watch it all in one sit-down.

Ok, neck on the line. This has been the very best course I have studied with MPV so far. It combines depth and clarity with great presentation and I have learned so much. Highly recommended. This was excellent. I just spent three days with a group of songwriters and was inspired by the innovation of every SongCraft SXSW sessions you've made available so far! The content is presented in a format that's short and sweet but still gives the whole picture. And it feels very raw and genuine.

Wow! The material presented in this course opens up new creative ideas. No need to get a different plugin for creating fun and complex and arpeggios. I can't wait to play with the Arpeggiator and integrate it into my music production.

Fantastic course on Monark... I've been dreading this NI package for quite a while now, but Matt makes it look quite easy to use - and in fact it is that easy... This is a 5-star course at the least.. Loving it and would be coming back to it as a reference guide.

-Thomas Nieminen
Let's be honest–the ability to learn from one of the greatest all-time house music producers is priceless. Every one of Olav's courses, despite the specific DAW, is pure gold. He's easy to follow along, entertaining and, most importantly, he is actually teaching as opposed to the typical "copy what I do to get this result" tutorial style that plagues the interwebs nowadays. His sweet tricks have definitely sped up my workflow...and I have a new found respect for the marquee tool, for sure!

-Dan
Really can't understand why so much people are rating this course high. In my opinion, the production and songwriting process on the video was ok, good explanation, but, common, we're talking about audio production here, there's chapter on the video talking about mix things and we're hearing the camera microphone, it's so bad sound that I can't believe it was done. How can we hear that 10k details on a SSL G Channel plug-in, and hear the differences it's making, if we hearing it from a camera mi...

Very balanced tutorial. Not too geeky and full of theory, but not too simple to not be useful. I love it when instructors here on MPV go beyond a basic visual manual (example: "the play button is here... when you push it, the video will play... The stop button is here, etc"). Great information even with a small amount of compression theory and enough concepts to get you up to speed and not put you to sleep. Very well explained and in-depth enough to be worth your time. Jul 21, 2014
It's a good tutorial for sure, but in my opinion it shouldn't be seen until you have a bit more knowledge into Eq, Comp, etc, otherwise you won't notice the diferences or meaning of his adjustments to the outboard equipment. I watched it 6 months ago and couldn't understand much, this time I thought it was very useful.

I will be starting the next video tonight!

Nice course on ad design. As with some of the other courses in Graphic Design the focus is not so much on technique, but more on developing an attitude towards the subject. Its alright. I cannot say its an incredible course. It does offer a lot of useful techniques. Why I didn't like it as much: a lot of the times the titles of the videos do not correspond 100% to the content of the videos, so if you want to come back to them later, it would be quite difficult to find some things. And also some topics are not so well covered, don't remember which ones exactly. They offer some information, but not enough in my opinion. But still a course worth taking in my opinion.

Very comprehensive in regards to the technical aspects. This was a great refresher. It also taught me a few things I hadn't known about the differences between and chorus and flange effects, and pointed me towards some really wonderful ways to thicken up sounds. The coverage of reverb is mostly technical with not a whole lot of emphasis put on the actual use of reverb. However, what it does cover is spot on. Nice work!

Great course. Well thought out, easy to follow, great examples. I feel much more comfortable with Simpler and I look forward to checking into the other instruments in Ableton Live 9. I would definitely recommend this course. Thank you.
-Flyingsoulo
Nice course on how classic ratio's have been around in art as well as in the natural world.
-Mark L74
This course is simply about all things you'd ever wanted to know about type.... possibly. Will i actually need it to work on designs? Mmm, not really. Will my designs benefit from it? Absolutely! And now i know where to find the aswers too!!
-Mark L74
tutorial was good. it did not allow questions. signing in and out of windows 8 was not a problem for me prior to listening to the tutorial
-diane
This course is about color, only color and it's the best! Mark Gatter shows exactly how to work with color for web and print. The colorscheme website he points to were unknown to me and are great stuff! Thanks!
-Mark L74
The String Section
Jul 12, 2014
Excellent course. Signed up to MPV just for this when I read about it yesterday. I will be sure to watch it again, but I got so glued to the course that I ended up watching the entire course in two short breaks, over one single day. Cannot wait for the next part :)
-Shad0wLandsUK
This is the first course I watched on macProVideo and I must say that the quality of content and the presentation were both outstanding. Very informative, and exactly what I was looking for. My sincere appreciation to the author for a highly professional job. Well done.
-Jean Cloutier
Spatial Effects
Jul 11, 2014
There are some interesting and helpful explanations. I wouldn't say is an amazing course, just like the other ones of this series from Canary Studios, there's a lot of times that a mixing engineer just played around with knobs and plugins without actually explaining. If you just jump those long videos you can learn something without getting bored.
-BRHamester
Learn about the masters of the Italian renaissance in this course on being a designer. No instructions, but still all beautifull to watch!
-Mark L74
The Mix
Jul 10, 2014
Love these Singing Canary tutorials, they are the closest thing to a true Quality PRO 'recording experience' tutorial, with some pretty cool music.
-Juan Otalora
DVD Player
Jul 10, 2014
Little nice course. Nothing much to learn if you are already familiar with DVD player but for someone who didn't, easy to understand.
-Dan
Great intro I would say about the mixer and what you can achieve within Reason. Always enjoying Mo's work as it is clear and easy to follow.
-Dan
The Combinator
Jul 10, 2014
This is a very good course. Didn't know a lot about the combinator but after this course, I'm knowing a lot of cool tricks, for different situation and different purposes. Thanks for the great jobs. In my top 5 course for sure!!!
-Dan
This course, even if more technical, was easy to follow and was explained clearly. You will learn all the basics of sounds in no time. Kept my interest until the end.
-Dan
As a Logic user, it can be frustrating when working with other engineers/producers who use Pro Tools. I have received project files and/or exported stems that just didn't import properly due to time code, and frame rate issues. SFLogicNinja, shows off a couple of ways to make the transition easier, when sending audio files for mixing/mastering. Save yourself from future frustrations if you work with a lot of different musicians and engineers across various DAWs… This is a must watch!

Jul 8, 2014
Definitely a wealth of information and easy to understand the key concepts. Just as great as the previous 2 courses. Looking forward to the next module.
-Johnny Zana
Great I am learning a few things I would like to learn how to use with MacBook pro, and sampling
-Milton Ellis
Logic Remote
Jul 7, 2014
This course gave a whole new meaning of use for my iPad. It definitely changed the way I write music and approach to it. Takes me way less time to finish a track now.
-BrHamester
It's an absolutely amazing course. It tells you everything you need to know about Delay and Reverb effects and more, flanging, chorusing, doubling, echo and phasing. Also some creative tips on using the effects. Worth every minute watching it.
-BRHamester
This class opened up many of the tricks the pros use and how to implement such tricks.
-Patrick O'Leary
This course gave me the step-by-step instruction I needed on color in Final Cut Pro X. The instructor makes the subject matter easy to understand.
-Patrick O'Leary
Some good tips and tricks on using advanced features on OSX Mavericks. Nice!
-Mark L74
I always tried to draw characters freehand. In this course Siobhan shows how to start with only a rough sketch and refine it through layers of adding more and more detail. I found i can apply this technique to other kinds of drawing as well. Thanks!
-Mark L74
A great course by Olav, his explanation of the various features of Traktor Pro 2 were very easy to follow. The only thing left to do now is to practice what he taught and hopefully master this fine piece of equipment and software.
-Rock
Good course wating for number 3 to go into Qlink section with more details.
-dave sereny
This course delves much, much deeper into animation. Compared to the basic course it's harder to follow and the pace is high. Experience with other software, like Flash, is almost mandatory to keep up. The part about exporting will outdate quickly because of the speed of browser software development!
-Mark L74
Thor, definitively became my favorite Reason's synth after watching this course! Very well explained.
-Dan
Dr Octo Rex is a lot more powerful than what I originally thought... I'm now a better user with this rack and have more fun. Thanks!!

Beat Design Basics
Jul 3, 2014
I really enjoyed this course. You will get a lot of tricks that could be done within Reason and you'll get at the same time ideas for getting new sounds. Very well done!
-Dan
Acoustics
Jul 3, 2014
Great course, just as good as the other ones from this series. Help a lot on how to get the best set up in a room to make your mixes.
-BRHamester
Once again, this course is useful and help me understanding faster this new effect and even a few more Reason tricks. Really like it.
-Dan
I am more of a programmer and less of a creative. I very much enjoy the trainer's (Michael) approach and delivery of this course material.
-Patrick O'Leary
Awesome - teaches you all about Nectar 2 and even a little bit about the effects themselves. It was a real treat to have this kind of detailed knowledge of such a powerful tool. Me and my mix thank you
-CustomNeonShirts / Matt Moran's
One of the most important courses I've taken. This really makes signal flow easy to understand, and the instructor infuses the course with a friendly and humorous demeanor that keeps it interesting. I literally laughed out loud at many points over the entire course. Highly recommended.
-Jeff Vezain
Another great addition to the Audio Concepts series. Excellent explanation of delay and reverb effects. I now know and understand the difference between flanging and phase. I feel more confident dialing in the exact sound I am looking for faster with less experimentation.
-maxxas
A lot of information to take in but definitely the best course I have found so far regarding Maschine 2. I will be referring back to these tutorials frequently in developing my skills with my Maschine Studio and DAWs.
-Rock
i liked The Art of Storyboarding 101, but in this 102-course it gets even better! Lots of in depth info on how to choose your shots and sequence. Highly recommended!
-Mark L74
A great Training, which perfectly shows up the multiplatform functionality of Numbers.
-Nils
The instructor speaks very clearly and slow enough to understand. I also like the circle around the pointer so that I know exactly what he is clicking and where he is on the screen.
-Atiliai Satoafaiga
A very great course which dig deeper on what could be done with Reason. Especially like the automation section.
-Dan
The String Section
Jun 30, 2014
You should be very proud of what you've created here. So far I can't seem to get past the String Section There's so much to learn, especially from the list of scores to study. As we speak I'm in the middle of the Ravel Quartet, absolutely amazing writing. Once again, Thank you so much:)
-DAVID ROUILLARD
Great series...no stone left unturned. It's a lot to absorb, but it's explained well. After watching this series, the only thing left to do is practise.
-ProFessor
Storyboarding has helped me to onderstaand the basics of animation. How to tell a story by sequencing and focusing on the message i want to het across. This will help me te enhance my animations for sure!
-Mark L74
Really get refresher on the essentials of recording and mixing audio. Highly recommended.
-R E S
Great way to revise if you are already familiar with some of the concepts covered.
-Rob S
Advanced Kontakt
Jun 29, 2014
This is one of the better tutorials I've come across over many products. The author goes into some depth on all fronts with out getting too far in the weeds...leaving that part up to you. However he does cover a lot and covers it well. Thumps up from me I will keep it in reference for future look ups.
-Mike Morgan
The course is quite thorough and covers the material rather well. I gave it a 4 out of 5 since the time/length of the course teachings are not included in the course outline.
-Patrick
Getting Started
Jun 29, 2014
This is a good introduction to Edge Animate! After watching this course, having no previous experience with this app, i can now make usefull animations for my website. Looking forward to the follow-up!

Massive: Essentials
Jun 29, 2014
Great tutorial! Lots of useful information presented in a linear, sensible way. Concepts explained very well, and even a few tips about workflow. Aside from the odd slip here and there, very well done!
-ProFessor
Good explanations, slow and easy to follow. I am wondering however if the arpeggiator can be used with third party pluggins and if it would function the same. It would be good to include that as well.
-Adrian Naqvi
great course for learning patterns and all around drumming. breaks down lots of ways to work on your drumming.
-pedro
This course is giving all that you need to better understanding and use Maschine faster, which is not always easy.
-Dan
This tutorial was very helpful in terms of teaching a wide variety of transferrable skills. There could be more review of the previous course continuing through to each new one. This tutorial overall is extremely insightful if you want to use push for production or playing live. Thanks very much!
-Subject Zero
Very good instructor, his voice was easy to listen too and gave lots of useful information. I like how he went through everything step by step and showed how to create a mix from start to finish.
-Adrian Naqvi

great course here,I done some music theory at school, but that was a long time ago,ha,ha Gregg is a great teacher, carefully explaining each part of the course Will revisit this course,as there are some parts I would like to refresh on,ha,ha
-David
I enjoyed it. Simple, to the point and covered the basics. This course will help you if you are jumping into more advanced classes with limited video experience.
-Patrick O'Leary
Great tutorial. I had no idea how to use Bitwig Studio or any DAW for that matter until I watched this
-Tyler Duraccio
i really enjoyed this tutorial course... The team bring a good balance of live performance and technical approach with a good professional insight to how each song element was performed and mixed. you really get to share the creative experience with the team..great mac pro …please bring more like this..great

One of the best courses I've watched. So many examples, so much in-depth knowledge from a clearly experienced composer. Really looking forward to the continuation of the series.
-Josue Plaza
Keyboard Wizdom
Jun 26, 2014
Wow, what a virtuoso you are! I really enjoyed watching you. I would have like to see your settings and how you make your layers. But still trying to replace my jaw...
-Dan
Olav knows his stuff, but I wish there was more explanation into the theory on some of the techniques. Also, I feel that the video production was very minimal. I prefer courses that have a great emphasis on structure and having those tips/tricks popups. No "ummms and ehhhs."
-Josue Plaza
Skanner XT
Jun 25, 2014
The course takes the form, for the most part, of the construction of four patches: a lead, a bass, a pad/stringsynth, and an effect. The course may lose you a bit with the first two: they are wholly unremarkable and, in fact, gloss over most of what makes Skanner a cool little device. Fortunately, the third patch sounds fantastic, and the fourth covers a lot of ground, throwing in basically every function Skanner has to offer (as you may guess it doesn't sound great, but it glances close enough ...
-Andrew
Very high quality course, one of the best I've found on AskVideo/MacProVideo. I'll be coming back to this; it's densely packed with good info. Instructor makes a strong effort to make every concept mentioned clear via demonstration, but never lingers on anything for long enough that it becomes tiresome. So very well done!
-Andrew
Producing Hip Hop
Jun 25, 2014
Interesting tutorial .This covers a some of the best new and old feature in logic with good creative technics with both.also explains and breakdown very well …A bit long Tho..Lol…But Covers topic very Well

Killer Sound Design
Jun 24, 2014
one of the best and most useful courses i've viewed so far!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-michael
Max f'Lahv! This was a great introduction to Max For Live -- as a longtime user of Live and a recent purchaser of Max, this helped get me up to speed on the kinds of things Max can do, and the wealth of devices that are included. Gary walked through many of the devices, and helped me to better prepare for further exploration, which I plan to do.
-Adam
Clearly explained, logical and practical. I am looking forward to the next series. Well done!
-Martin Novak
Absolutely amazing course, I haven't learnt even half of it at my music college. Thank you so much for this tutorial series. Can't wait for the next one to be released.
-BRHamester
EQ
Jun 23, 2014
I guess this course is a quite advanced one, you have to watch it with fresh ears and on proper monitors. Watching it on headphones at first was a waste of time, since you can't notice the difference in the examples.
-BRHamester
Battery 4 Detonated
Jun 23, 2014
Nice introduction to Battery. It's pretty complete, concise and inspiring. Definitely worth to watch.
-BrHamester
This was a very inspirational course for me. I especially enjoyed the explanation of the mixing process and appreciated the simplicity of it all. It sounded like something Johnny Cash would have done at Sun Studios back in the day. Kudos to the guys involved.
-maxxas
Mixer's Toolbox
Jun 23, 2014
Excellent course for a very complex plugin. I recently purchased Alloy 2 and was thrilled to see a course for it here. The instructor does a fantastic job at demystifying all of the overwhelming configurations available in this awesome plugin! Occasionally, he reminded me of a late night commercial where the announcer says, "Wait! There's more!" Looking to see if he has any other tutorials here!
-maxxas
I have been dabbling in audio my entire life but this video series proves that there is always something to learn. Good job, Joe!
-Chris M.
I really enjoy Joe's no-nonsense approach to his tutorials. He is very professional and presents the material clearly in an illustrated way. I am looking forward to the rest of the series.
-Chris M.
Good course. General tips and tricks on how to be a graphic designer. The part on creating interactive pdf's is very usefull! recommended.

Exploring The EXS24
Jun 22, 2014
I don't mean to grumble, and I won't deny that a lot was learned from watching this course- but I have to say, David's explanations are incredibly cryptic. It sounds a lot more like he's just reading from the manual, rather than trying to rephrase complicated terminology in ways that most consumers will understand. On the whole, my advice is to do some background research on the EXS PRIOR to watching these videos (if you ARE going to bother with them, that is), as I really don't feel they cover ...
-James
Simply awesome. I've just watched the first one of this series and can't wait to watch the following ones.
-BRHamester
Love it, very informative videos guide and Master Class to Pro-Tools and Others. Highly Recommended. A+++
-Advanced Audio Design Llc
Razor
Jun 21, 2014
You will learn things from this, don't get me wrong. However, it's a walk through a set of patches that are very much planned out ahead of time; he clearly has a set of numbers for each knob's setting in front of him, and while he sometimes covers why something is set a certain way, it's not a guarantee. Basically, they are clear videos, but walking you through a finished project is more the way of this tutorial than actually building anything from scratch.
-Andrew
Working With Audio
Jun 21, 2014
Working with Audio can be complicated. But Hollin is showing you all you need to work efficiently in Reason and explanations are very clear and simple. Another must for a better use of Reason.
-Daniel
The Instruments
Jun 21, 2014
After this course, you'll be able to use any instrument of the Reason Rack. Great introduction to all of them. Some like Thor and Kong are simply too huge to be all covered here but you'll get the idea.

This is a good starting point to learn the basics and what can be done with Reason. Of course you will have to dig further later to explore more possibilities but we need to start somewhere.

Well, I'm not a good drawer but I was always curious about being able to draw human body. This tutorial shows how to draw it with very great and quick easy tricks. Never thought that with these simple tricks, I would finally be able to draw better. Thanks!!

This is the most complete and easy to learn tutorial about the orchestration (String Section) I've ever reviewed or study. But! How many days should I wait to have the others? Haha... The Oscillator
Jun 20, 2014
A good tutorial on synthesis that covers and breakdown each topic subject very well..found this course very interesting but also explained very well
-May-z
Excellent course. Not too long, but covers a ton. I figured I'd already know everything contained within from experience, and casually watched it with a few meals. It surprised me, and I managed to pick a few things up I'd never heard before.
-Andrew
Inspiring. I'm not really into EDM, I'm more into Industrial Rock, but it's given me some very interesting knowledge from other genres to add to my experimental work.
-BRHamester
Another excellent tutorial! Very informative and engaging with great use of audio examples to explain key concepts of EQ and Compression. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
-Johnny Zana
Excellent format and engaging presentation of the material. I recommend this to learners at any level (beginner to expert) because there really is something for everyone. Thanks for putting this tutorial together. Looking forward to the next course.
-Johnny Zana
What a brilliant course, so far one of the best in the website. If you manage to watch the whole thing you'll be amazed by the end of it, so much knowledge that he's sharing here.
-BRHamester
Although the complexity of the subject, this course is explained in an easy way. I will have to redo some section as English is not my main language but not trainer fault... Really like the course by itself. Thanks.
-Daniel
Excellent course. I have picked so many tips on using Ableton it's untrue. Nice one Noah.
-BrettC
Straight forward and clear for me. There's a few interesting tricks to be learnt, but could have been a shorter tutorial for the amount of content.
-BRHamester
Pulverizer
Jun 16, 2014
Well, this is really an amazing tutorial! I always think about the pulverizer, don't know exactly what to do with it. After this tutorial I love the unit for mangeling beats etc. It was a real benefit for my work. And a lot of fun too. Thanks ;-)
-Daniel
Pretty good outline and overview overall, but some of the concepts were described in a way that may be alienating to someone BRAND new to how a computer works.
-Peter
I already have used this app quite a bit, composing tunes, jamming etc. But still I learned a lot from this course. Good stuff!
-Joe Bagg

This is a good look at learning all the basic uses and how synchronous works. Thought it was good but would have liked a bit more on manipulating sounds. Worth watching if you don't know synchronous at all.

Educational, entertaining, lively … Not only did this course help me understand the ‘why’ of strings and their people, it made me even more anxious to try the ideas out. Thank you, Thomas!
-David Nedwek
I am a fan of Tammy's so was thrilled to see this course. Very informative, not for complete beginners but does address some fundamentals around technique and posture. Includes many insights to give you fresh ways of looking at the challenges that confront a voice student. Tammy is fun, engaging and super talented. Very much enjoyed the looping primer and look forward to playing around with one myself.
-Andy
The ART of EDM
Jun 11, 2014
This course was different than the other logic ones I have completed so far. I had become used to pausing and writing things down every 30 seconds in courses like the mixing&automation one because the content was so much so quick. This one was drawn out a bit and more "watchable" after I finally settled into my chair and stopped thinking I was missing good notes. You explained things clearly and walked us through it with you and that was really awesome. Refreshing course! I almost completed the ...
-indiKilla
Great course! Lots of helpful tips and tricks about the plugins in ProTools 11!!
-Neil
The String Section
Jun 11, 2014
There's a lot of technical information, which sometimes is quite boring if you don't play any string instrument, but I guess it makes the tutorial very complete. Can wait to watch the following tutorials of this course, since it will helped me a lot to write string sessions.
-Brhamester
Awesome review of the different options and a great explanation of the ease of using garageband for iCloud

Poster Design
Jun 9, 2014
Excellent course!! Very, very informative!
-Stig Mathisen
This course is very clear, the teacher does a great job of putting key points on messages so you can pause and take notes if needed. It is a lot to digest but I've taken lots of breaks and made sure to stop when I can't retain anymore but WOW this is going to take my music to another level.
-indiKILLA
Between this course, and spending countless hours fiddling with my maschine the past few years, I can finally say I understand exactly what maschine can do and its absolutely crazy, when you use it standalone its capable of a lot, but then pulling it into another DAW opens up a new world. Thank you for showing me what this thing can do!
-indiKILLA
This was a very clear course and walked me through one of my first logic arrangements to make it much much much better, between this and the "whats new in logic course" I am well on my way to proper mixing and a good work flow. I also highly recommend the mixing&automation course too!
-indiKILLA
This was perfect for me, as I am new to the depths of logic and really wanted to get my machine stuff into it to mix professionally, this not only showed new stuff, but was a basic walk thru for new users who are familiar with some of the lingo. 5 stars! Thank you!
-indiKILLA
I started this course as a way to help me tap into different creative areas of my mind to enhance my music making skills. Overall, i enjoyed the exercises in this course because it really made you trust using your mind for spatial awareness and contour line drawing. Looking forward to moving to the next tutorial series.
-Johnny Zana
Another great offering from Gregg Fine, theoretically perfect! Just what the music doctor orders when you're in the doldrums, much appreciated, tremendous creative freedom when or if applied, Cheers ; r )
-rick
Great course Steve - really enjoyed it and cannot wait to try it all out. Demystified a lot for me! Thankyou. Could do with a few more 'in music' examples though, so an example of linear phase eq on a song as well as a sine wave - but hey! :-)

Ben Balser is a great instructor. I've learn much from this course and now use 'Key Wording' folders for every project I do. Nice MPV!
-Naim
Wonderful signal flow course. Many features the tutor touches on are well explained and executed. Would be great if some ideas were tutored with some "hands on" work; but that I'll have to do myself. Looking forward to more tutorials from Peter Schwartz!
-Selim Göncü
Very well explained. I'm looking to build my own studio and this is answering a lot of questions that I had. The only thing I would have loved in this course is having a photo or a quick video of all the parts and audio hardwares that is discussed to help me figure out what is what. But other than that (and this was not a must), must seen course for everybody who plan to make a home studio. Great job!!!
-Daniel
I found it very interesting but sadly it only covers the basic stuffs.
-Migrosdata
This is a good tutorial for the basics of live sampling, but since this is based on Reason 5, it may be confusing when apply what you learned to Reason 7. This is considering the new master section which was not present in the version used in this tutorial. Still this is useful in understanding how to record and edit samples, rather than routing.
-Bradlie Jones
Very comprehensive. Would have appreciated more coverage of the hosted mode and its features.

KONG: King of Drums
May 26, 2014
Executed extremely well. Covered (quite literally) every single aspect of the device with both great explanations and great examples. Most of the lessons that I've come across have been fantastic, but the flow of information seemed to jump around illogically. This series really goes from top to bottom in easy to digest chunks and really demonstrates the power of this device in Reason. I would recommend this to anyone who has any questions about how Kong works, how Reason works, how CV controls w...

Great tutorial, plenty of little gems! Worthwhile watching even if you are familiar with Pro Tools.

I have seen other videos on iMovie that just skim the surface. They don't go into any detail. I have also read a couple of books that were as clear as mud. This course gives you the indepth detail that I want. By showing you what to do and then seeing the results locks it in my mind better than just reading something and leaving you to figure it out on your own. This is an excellent program and would recommend it to anyone wishing to learn iMovie!
-Dave Stares
Great tutorial, nice and concise, straight to the point. Thanks Mo

Well this four course on music business was quite intriguing. I can see why some people fail & exceed at it. Knowledge is definitely power to all who have it & and can you at will. so i can say for sure that i will be watching all these courses again, again, and again, until its stuck in my head completely.

Very, very good course - perfect number of features explained at just the right pace. As for the trainer, very knowledgeable, pleasant voice, pleasant and friendly manner - I think I would watch anything if Matt Vanacoro was the trainer. Actually, not true - if Matt was explaining quadratic equations, I would probably give that a miss ;-)

Essential viewing for anyone serious about having a career in music. This is a great conclusion to Dr. Bissell's four part course. The information here may save you possibly months of personal research and headaches. Clearly Dr. Bissell has an extensive knowledge base on this subject. He guides the viewer through confusing business concepts with a relaxed and entertaining style. LMAO at the "Truck Month" jingle. Bottom line, these are some of the best courses on MPV. Miss at your peril.

Rishabh has a calm and straightforward delivery that is easy to follow and reference. He does an excellent job here as in his other synth tutorials. Particularly like how the end of each lesson is devoted to patch design. Would love to see him do a breakdown of the Korg MS-20.

-kawame davis
Overall, this course was super-informative and its instructor was very warm and friendly. My biggest complaint: a lack of function/effect explanation. The instructor would use effects without explaining their value fully, and if they were explained it was a passing explanation. For example, the Utility effect (always been a mystery to me in Ableton) was placed onto a grouped track without any explanation of its function or value in the mix..only that it "increases width" or something. One exce...

Good introduction to people unfamiliar with Youtube, it covers most of the major topics. However, if you already have a youtube channel, there won't be much here. For instance, the video on third party content doesn't say how to dispute a frivolous claim. So, if you already have used Youtube for a while, you might not get much out of it, but if you're new to youtube and intimidated by it, then you'll see what it has to offer in an easy format.
-Vasco
This is a good intro to Logic Pro X. I would say for the complete novice to this program it is the manditory first step. Naver having used Logic before the program still seems overwhelming, but like I say this is a good first step in understanding the massive and endless options in Logic. I gave 4 stars because the sections in the course could have flowed better, and a couple of the section were a different instructor, outlining a function, I would have prefered the same person/voice to handle...

Great course explaining the new functions of EZ Drummer2. The only thing I miss is the explanation of tempo following the DAW and the percentage of lowering of the tempo that still delivers great drums. As always MacProvideo is my favorite Tutorial supplier.

Olav's presentation is both informative and entertaining, he goes in depth, without The information becoming too heady. Although this series is titled Sound Design For Dance Music The techniques, here could work for any production.

Good sense of humor. Keeps the videos short. Moves a bit fast in a couple of spots and doesn't explain certain shortcuts he takes. Very good course!
-Allen
Very Insightful. Great course for beginners looking to get into photography or even more confident photographers to brush up on their skills.
-Niallzorz
I just upgraded from EZDrummer to EZDrummer 2. Wow, what a change for the better. But it freaked me out with all the new stuff to learn. I am a visual person and videos are my ticket to learning. As soon as I got EZD 2 I checked to see if there was a tutorial video and the first place I went was MacPro Video and there it was. Matt Vanacoro is a wonderful instructor and takes you through all aspects of EZD2. If you want to save yourself some time please check out this video. Absolutely 5 stars.
-David Goddard
I absolutely loved this course! Can't believe how many things I've been doing wrong on my mix and other really cool things that I can add now to it. Brilliant. We'll spent money.

This is an excellent tutorial to get you up and running quickly with Push. It shows just how quickly you can start putting a track together with the Ableton - Push combo. Noah's delivery is enjoyable, and I really dug this and his other tutorials as well. I recommend this if you are starting out with Push.

The Oscillator
May 3, 2014
This was great, I've never had the opportunity to touch one of the analog synths or oscillators. This course has shown me the foundation of the software synths that I use today!
-Harry
It's a slow start, and then it walks the user through the different options of sharing something in Motion. The first couple tutorials may not be obvious, but if you watch them all through, it'll make sense. It's useful to see how all the rendering stuff in Motion works (from display to sharing), which may not be intuitive at first, so this is a useful tutorial.
-Vasco
.As senior citizen I would find it a little easier if the course were repeated twice over in order to fix it in my mind. The explanation is simple and easy to follow but repetition enforces. Thank you
-Cynthia Hodges
Thanx a lot of this nice tutorial!
-Daniel
Good introduction to all the variations in Compressor. Unfortunately, the new interface of compressor looks different, but most of the stuff covered here can be found. The course uses cooking videos to show how different settings can affect processing time, quality, and other aspects of the video, and how to find your way around the somewhat non-intuitive compressor interface. It would be great if a newer tutorial series were made for the new interface.
-Vasco

Great tutorial. A must watch for anyone just starting to dive into the slightly more complex areas of FCPro.
-PZ
This is a very good tutorial, and the guy who instructs it is all over it. My only 'beef' is gonna make me sound like a 'dumb guitarist', but..... this is very KEYBOARD oriented... there's simply too much stuff aimed at keyboard players, which although is Universally informative, it's simply too much stuff I don't care about.... from a guitarists point of view. I'm not interested in 'drawbars' on a Hammond organ.... Sure, he 'addresses guitar stuff'.... "just so the keyboard players don't ...

Excellent course! Max for Live is the future of music production and sound theory! Unbelievable technology with limitless applications!!

This was a bit strange as a tutorial - it seemed more like a sales pitch at some points. I found Noah Pred's 101 course to start at a more basic level, and go to a more advanced level than this course did. Still, with that said, it was amazing to see Jordan's playing prowess on the Push. He really demonstrates how this is an instrument, and not just a production tool. I'd say for anyone who is already a bit familiar with the Push, you can skip over the first section of this tutorial, but defin...

Absolute Absynth

I recently had a veteran sound designer show me the possibilities of Absynth. I came away inspired, but there was a large skill gap to fill. I've tried out Cubase video tutorials in the past and they've been worthy but dull. This one is different, despite covering all the same ground as the others I've seen. The difference is down to the narrator, Matthew Loel T. Hepworth. He has a wonderful, breakneck style of getting into the detail, rarely leaving dead-air and racing from one point to the next. His enthusiasm is infectious, but he's also thorough without packing the topics out with 'filler.' All the necessary points are cov...

Diva Demystified

A good tutorial needs a good narrator, a firm grasp of the principals of the item explored, and a sense of offering something new. Diva, one of the most astonishing soft synths I've ever seen, deserves something a little special as a tutorial. The creative potential of the synth and the exceptional design really raised my expectations for this tutorial. Mr. Rajan is in many ways a good choice for narration. He has a pleasant, easy-going style that verges on languid. He knows the VST softw...

This is an amazing course by Bill Burgess. There is so much knowledge being passed on that it'll take me a few times watching and practicing the techniques here to fully have that in my arsenal. The hints on amazing drummers and drum programmers, and their techniques, is also inspiring. I have been listening to most of these people for years, but never quite thought about their music in that way until now.

Battery 3
Apr 24, 2014
I wanted to really understand the basics and so decided to start with the Battery 3 tutorial before proceeding to Battery 4. I have no regrets as this tutorial is amazing. Every feature of Battery is thoroughly and well explained, so much that I pretty much know my way around Battery before I've even used it to produce a track. I'll be proceeding to Battery 4 now, but I am in no doubt that the principles are the same, and I may only need to focus on the newer features.

Learning pro tools from the very start really has its ups & downs. meaning the upside is that you learn a few tricks that you never know existed and the downside is that if you have known about this or that trick earlier on then it might have been a great help. Good job guys

Monark Demystified
Apr 23, 2014
With a first look at this Synth, it may appear to look quite simple and straight forward. Throw in some morphing or randomizing between snapshots (presets), the altering of global settings and the ability of Monark to interact with other Konplete plugin modules and you have almost infinite options. The only thing stopping you is your imagination.

really good tutorial for people who like sound design. He goes over the fundamentals (advanced fundys) of synthesis. Best part is he teaches you so you can do this on pretty much any type of synth, virtual or analog.

great course in audio for gaming. At the end of this course i will be watching more video about this & hope that in the future more will come. As a music composer, i find this really interesting. Would love to do a scoring on a game one day in the future. A quick question though, it unrelated to the topic but could you guys do a auto hide on the player because sometimes when in full screen some of the words at the bottom gets cut off. hope you fix it. Noah is a great instructor. Fun to follow, has a good sense of humour, and knows Ableton Live inside and out. Good flow to this course, starting with the basics and building up to more advanced skills, finally putting together an arrangement at the end. Had a couple questions though, thinking that Ableton may have updated the Push in some small ways since the video was recorded, and it'd be handy if there were notes about any of these minor changes. But overall, great tutorial. Thanks!
-Jordan
great tutorial if your new to pro tools 11 or if you really want to make the best out of it by learning its ins & outs

MIDI Demystified

Core Flash CS5
Apr 19, 2014
With many Flash courses costing hundreds of dollars, this course is certainly one of the best for value for money. Geoff is very knowledgeable, covers every detail and at a good pace for new aspiring Flash Designers like myself.
-Rock
I think this is a good course for a beginner at Mac OS X. I would have liked perhaps a bit more advanced, but for a beginner, this is a super course that is well explained.
-Jeff
I've been following these tutorials with the demo version of Bitwig; but one thing is certain, these tutorials are making me seriously consider getting the full version. The lessons are so explanatory and reveal the power in Bitwig.
-Anthony
This course gives a concise yet comprehensive overview of the new features in Media Composer 6.05 Excellent.
-Chris Mason
I've used my daughter's Nikon DSLR for shooting video a couple of times and have suffered from the sheer weight of options available, although the results were good. After following this course, I now know what choices to make and some of the pitfalls to avoid. Matt is an agreeable presenter whose experience in the field comes through in every lesson clip. I will be reviewing the notes I've taken and won't hesitate to go back and watch some lessons again once I've done some practical work.

Working With MIDI
Apr 18, 2014
This is a great tutorial for anyone just starting off in Reason and also a good recap! Great series Hollin!! Good Gig MacPro!!!
-BPGeez
Another fantastic ES2 course. It's amazing how powerful Logic's plugins are. The fun thing about this course is, if you focus on the theory behind the creation of each of the sounds, it can be applied to the other stand alone subtractive synths with FM and wavetable synthesis.
-Anthony
I am still new to Logic Pro and after working through this course I think: This is another very helpful course, I learned a lot about Midi in Logic - also a lot of stuff which I guess would be very hard for me to find/learn if I tried to learn that on my own (for example: I never expected the step editor to be such a powerful tool - without this course we would have kept on using just the piano roll editor solely). For me it was obvious that the trainer is really experienced in producing musi...
-Winnie
Very very informative..This is amazing,loving it !!!
-karan
Having owned this synth plugin for many years, it is finally exciting to come across a course dedicated to so many aspects of this synth. From bass design to image resynthesis and morphing of waveforms, this plugin is no ordinary synth. The information provided in this course is worth every cent and more.
-Rock
I am loving this so much. I was really lost with my new technology and now I am feeling capable!

Working With Audio
Apr 16, 2014
Utter confidence after finishing this course! Great job Mr. Jones!! Good gig MacPro!!!
-BPGeez
It was very helpful but A beginner probably would probably not understand some of it.
-Rudy Capetta
Great review of motion templates. I'd love to see another one that gets deeper into transparencies and masks with transitions, but this one goes over the basics at a good speed and is enough to get you started.
-Vasco
This was a very interesting and informative course. I learned new approaches to create a logo and ways to improve them.
-Mr Taylor
Excellent course. The Scarbee Rickenbacker Bass is an absolutely fantastic tool for getting extremely realistic bass guitar sounds. And this tutorial shows just how easy it is to use.
-Anthony
Such a detailed and cared tutorial with bunch of practical knowledge. It tells you how to make your drumming work tidy and efficient with drum racks. Hope Vespers will upload more tutorials! He is a great teacher!!

Mixing EDM Tracks
Apr 16, 2014
Another excellent course from Mo. Everything is so well explained in such detail that you immediately understand what is being done and how to use the technique in your own materials. At the same time the explanations are straight to the point. This is a fantastic accompaniment to Mo's Mastering Course.
-Anthony
I don't think this tutorial could've been done much better.. Always learn a lot from the Ninja! Good gig MacPro!
-BPGeez
Great tutorial. Mo is an excellent teacher. He goes just slow enough for you to follow, but fast enough to keep it interesting. Would love an in-depth look at the sampling functions.
-Larry
I´m still new to Logic and also to MPV.com. But now - after seeing several courses now I think I can compare. good: - this is another very informative course, and I learned a lot - thank you! :-) - the teacher speaks in a relaxed quiet mood - for me this is a good climate to learn - I think the course outline is good and it gives a good overview could be better: - the teacher sometimes (too often for me) speaks too fast and also mumbles a bit (since I´m no native english speaker I didn´t un...

Great bass set up for todays music and tips for making a drum loop library using Logic's drummer track. Must see.
-jimmy jagger
After the course, I discovered that BreakTweaker is an Incredibly well thought out & versatile software that could quite possibly REPLACE a DAW if used properly! Bill was detailed (but not to the point of boredom) He keeps this mind-boggling beast of a plugin tamed with humorous examples that get straight to the point, and at times manage to put a smile on your face. A great course for any experience level and not discouraging like some 15 hour tutorials that trail off into rabbit holes. Feature...

Exploring Kontakt 4
Apr 14, 2014
Just got Konakt, and needed a primer. This is a great course overall. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that there are times when not enough information is given. I'll give one example: There's a lesson toward the end about banks, and changing instruments within banks by sending a program change message. But it is never explained how that is accomplished. One other beef is that a great portion of the time is spent on the stand-alone instrument, and I will almost never use Kontakt as a stand-...
-Morry
Another fantastic course from Olav. With this course you can go from not knowing anything about bitwig to creating a full track.

Mac OS Security
Apr 13, 2014
Very complete course. Especially like the keychain section where I learnt how to use it. All along the course, the tutorials are short and very easy to understand. Thanks for the great work, help me reconsider my computer habits!!
-Daniel
Excellent course! I am just beginning to produce music and thus beginning to learn Logic Pro. After studying the complete course and also passing the not too easy exam I can clearly say: this course is didactical very well made. It's packed with lots of well explaining pictures and graphics - just right to understand everything easily. Also: the speaker is in a good mood and makes nice jokes. Here I had a lot of fun while learning. :-) I don´t speak english natively but could understand (almo...

KONG: King of Drums
Apr 12, 2014
This is "The best" source for learning " KONG" in reason. Each tutorial is less than 4 minutes. A must have tutorial for the beginer as well as experienced user.
-OTHA MCGEE
Nigel does it again with another fantastic tutorial. I am pretty familiar with Drummer and have actually found some new ways I haven't seen in any tutorial to do things; but this tutorial introduces some very interesting ideas, particularly with the ODE to the old skool beats - that was very creative and original. I loved this tutorial.
-Anthony
Mastering Toolbox
Apr 11, 2014
It was very good to learn a simple way with this tutorial. Basic and advanced concepts in the art of mastering. Thanks Matt Hepworth and macProVideo for this excellent course. Best quality all the time. Please make more course of CUBASE 7.

I really like the relaxed style of Geoffs courses! It really helps to keep on learning. Thanks!
-MarkL74
Fantastic once again. I have followed the Music Theory series, and all I can say is I know more now about the theory of music than I have ever. There is so much valuable information here that I'd have to come back to these tutorial a few more times to get it all in. The course is worth every second spent.

Song Form
Apr 10, 2014
I'm absolutely loving these Music Theory courses. This Song Form course is the perfect accompaniment to the Melody, Harmony, and Rhythm courses. I'll be going over to the Bassline and Chord Progression courses, and then revisiting all of these again until the information is embedded in my medula. 5*s all the way.
-Anthony
Facebook Marketing
Apr 10, 2014
One more great tutorial, I just can't get enough! This really shows how to control and manage a Facebook page. It covers everything I need to know about promoting my music via Facebook. I have just promoted my website via Facebook for the first time thanks to this tutorial. Before I was a scared to it, but not now :-) Thanks :-)
-Thomas Zinther
While I'm not really a dance music maestro (More Singer/Songwriter) I found Nigel Broads articulation of the EDM very interesting and elucidating.

-Mehmet Fatih Kara
Rhythm
Apr 9, 2014
Fantastic course. I'm pretty familiar with rhythm; but this course made very apparent, quite a few things I was doing; and I'm now able to apply my knowledge of rhythm into my compositions, rather than just free-styling. This course has been of tremendous help.
-Anthony
Harmony
Apr 9, 2014
Another outstanding course, and a good follow-up to the melody course. There is so much I have learned. And I have decided to go back to both courses before progressing to the Rhythm course, for getting the best possible out of these courses.
-Anthony
Get Started Now!

Can a tutorial get any better?!? NM i found an A to my Q in this Q&A, the A is no, I am actually attempting to learn more than just final cut from this guy, i'm trying to pay attention on the details of presentation this man is using. IDK why or how, but these tutorials are far superior to ANY tutorials I have ever seen. Clear, precise, information packed... and yet in a way i feel in no time at all i just understood years worth of trial and errors I tended to arrive at by watching random mater...
-Psyzmixx
Five Stars all the way. I've taken this course a few times now, and every time I do, I learn something new.
-Anthony
This is a fantastic course. I started a while back but took a break to get a vocal sample and make a track that I could use to follow this tutorial. I learn best by trying it first hand. All I can say is, this has been a great experience, and I will be making reference to this tutorials in future.
-Anthony
An excellent course. I got the demo so I could go along with this course, and it proved very interesting indeed.
-Anthony
Quick Start Guide
Apr 8, 2014
Excellent overview... I am first time and I have learned what reasons can do...
-SparkyG
After seeing an excellent demonstration of Push by TecBeatz at SXSW, and spending an hour or so with it myself I made the leap and added Push to my production arsenal. This video aided me in getting up and running and productive with Push. Noah Pred was excellent and clear with his presentation of the material. As a beginner with Push this video went at a great pace and there was no information overload. EXCELLENT!!!
-UrbanPrayz
A nice introduction course into designing logos, some very useful tips for working a logo from beginning to the end.

ES2 Exposed
Apr 7, 2014
Great course covering everything about the ES2.. The quality of the video resolution was a little bit lower than usual; it seems to be an older course. Excellent quality instruction and information, however!
-Neil
An interesting course looking at the basics of advertising design with a look at the process of designing a client logo.
-Wibbers
Great overview of Cubase, great pace and excellent instructor. I recently purchased Cubase 7.5 but found MANY gems in this tutorial.
-Sam
Jeremy's passion for instruction and the advancement the art is truly infectious. I eagerly await every installment of "Jeremy Style" and look forward to stealing his approaches for years to come. Thanks Jeremy Ellis!
-Daniel in Denver
Very good tutorial. I learnt synthesizer history with a lot of interest and without annoying stuff that usually came with historical course :). I was always curious and forced to press next to watch a new video.
-Daniel
Genius! This tutorial is the best money I have ever spent. I've been a long-time logic user, but always used Finale for notating my parts and scores. I now feel confident enough to produce my parts and scores in good 'ol Logic Pro, and am seriously considering abandoning my love-hate relationship with that 'other' piece of software. Viva Logic Pro, and Viva Peter Schwartz!!!!!
-Airforceguitar
Working in 3D
Apr 4, 2014
It went quickly, at the right pace. Sure, I'd like to have seen more, it but was enough to find out how to do things in motion, and to understand how 3D works and what the limitations of the software is in 3D. I only wish the software had real 3D modelling capabilities, but the 3D capabilities it does have are covered well in this tutorial.
-Vasco
I love how you explained in the course overview how you explain that EDM entails all dance-music genres such a techno, trance, electro etc. That made the tutorial much more appealing to me, since I am not so fond of the uninspiring formula-based commercial "EDM" you hear everywhere. Thanx for the tips!
-Robert
Song Form
Apr 3, 2014
This is a good starter if you're completely new to writing any kind of music, with enough material to help you analyse and mimic the more common forms. Would love a more advanced class on this Gregg!
-Carrion Fowl
Great Explanation, thank you guys. You cannot beat this at this price point

Advanced Kontakt 5
Apr 2, 2014
Another very good course following on from the previous Kontakt one. Much more meat in this one - looking forward to building my own instruments now. The presenter needs to find a new word to replace "robust" though.
-Wibbers
It doesmexactly that, introduce the new features in Live 9. They also did it so new user understand whats happening. I learned good video.

Really good introduction of design. I kinda enjoy it. Will definite watch the complete series.

Producing Hip Hop
Mar 30, 2014
This was an awesome course! Already it has changed the quality of my sounds with the use of reverb and other fx. So many things I have learned about Logic Pro, producing as well as lite mixing to help in the production process. I would have loved to see further tutorials on how to bounce each individual processed track into tracked-out stems for further mixing in a professional studio. To include fx that are not recommended when sending off for final mixing. Awesome course!

Massive: Essentials
Mar 28, 2014
Great beginner's course. I was a preset warrior before taking this, but now I've already created a number of compositions with all custom sounds!
-Christopher Pendergraft
Matt is excellent at presenting the material. Looking forward to his other Maschine tutorials.
-Sam
I thought this course was going to teach me from THE BEGINNING about Abelton Live since I'm new to Abelton. I've been a Logic user and wanted to learn more about Live. It only showed me what was NEW to Live but I followed along and am MORE INTERESTED in LIVE than EVER!!! It looks super cool and I'm eager to get started. I will learn the basics in the Live 8 tutorials and then finish up with 9!!! Super informative and a great way to teach!! LOVE LOVE LOVE all around!!
-Lady Coleco
Great course. At some points, it gets slow by saying unnecessary things like "final cut pro makes things easy" and calls database kind of stuff fun. But, it's very useful. Some of the material, like compound clips and auditions, is covered in more detail and more clearly on the editing courses. Overall, very useful. It's a dry subject, and you'll probably need some experience trying to make your own short films before understanding what's going on.
-Vasco
Animating Effects
Mar 27, 2014
Excellent and fun way to learn about some of Motion's animation tools, from keyframes to behaviours. I'd like something that goes more into detail on how to make some specific situations, like smoke, but this tutorial says how to use the tools available and see what's under the hood. Thanks.
-Vasco
Love the 2 Authors working together. I watched the whole series from Quick Look -104 and I was actually disappointed that it was over. I learnt twice as much in half the time compared to other online tutor courses I've watched. I would really like to see more from Eric & Elisabeth.
-Aaron Bell
I like the course is amazing I am looking forward for more new updates in future you guys doing great job this is really big deal for people who are interested to learn about pro tools logic Cubase abelton etc keep up the good work guys ps
-shahrooz john bigonah
Superb tutorial!! For me as a newcomer to Native Instruments and of course Maschine. This course is packed with content, Mo really knows his stuff, taking you step by step into the software, explaining all the hidden parts of Maschine, and giving you tips and tricks along the way This is one of many ,of Maschine tutorials,I will be coming back to!
-David
Michael's course is very clear and very intuitive. Where it excels is with Auditions, Secondary Storylines and Compound Clips. I now feel very comfortable with FCPX. I would appreciate a lesson on customising the keyboard as some of the keys on my AZERTY need to be re-assigned in order to function.
-Sebastian Dewsbery
Get Started Now!
Mar 25, 2014
This was a really great precursor that highlights the very basics and capabilities of Final Cut Pro X.
-Fearn
Very helpful, learned a lot from this. Also, very nice and calm explaining but not mono-tone at all. Would be cool to have seperate tutorials for just Mac, iPhone or iPad if you just want to focus on one but I don't want to complain. Thanks a lot for the vids!
-Kostis
Go Live With Live 9
Mar 23, 2014
Great! Lots of ideas are covered. I had to pause and rewind to follow the steps at times - not a problem, however, because I prefer content I have to review if I didn't catch it initially. Showing the use of the MIDI controller was also helpful to see what that all entailed. Also, this instructor is very encouraging in a fun way.
-Substance D
Mastering Toolbox
Mar 23, 2014
A slightly updated version of the Mastering in Cubase course for Cubase 5.0. Excellent in its own right and highly recommended to those who have not seen the earlier version, but not worth paying for a second time if you have already downloaded the earlier version.
-Wibbers
Great Course, Also done by one of those instructors that just keeps you having fun while telling you what you need to know at the same time... Thanks
-Dan
Excellent course, very precise and detailed for learning many of the most important features

Great set of tutorials. This guy is always great. I've watched a lot of Cubase tutorials by different people, and this guy with four names is always the best. I've never been a mixer, but i have to do it so often by necessity. I'm getting great results. He shows so much cubase stuff I never knew was there.

I really like all the fcpx courses but 105-20 on animation, i can not figure out how to select the image i want to move. it just moves the whole picture. but i am learning a lot from this course.

This is a great course. I learned a ton. The broad priciples are also applicable to Google Sheets and Excel for windows. Now I just hope that Tamás will follow up this course with a more advanced Excel for Mac course!
-Mr.S
I absolutely loved this tutorial. It has inspired me so much. If you've ever thought about working with adds that will give you an idea of what the job really is about.
-BHamester
A necessary starting point for using Photoshop CS6 or CC, this course takes you through the key parts of the PS interface. PS has such a robust set of interface features, the methodical process of going through them step-by-step is probably the best way to introduce them. If you are using Photoshop for the first time, certain concepts lack context (i.e. the application of masks) or even the use of layers. However, the instructor avoids more advanced topics and interface elements, for the most pa...

Very happy with this course. Studio Drummer had been sitting on my hard drive for a while, and I really wanted to start using it. This tutorial is great! It got me up and running in no time. I particularly liked the parts on channel settings and output configuration. I use Ableton Live (the course covers Logic) but that was no problem. Thanks a lot.
-tormodg
Excellent tutorials. Use of graphics and Logic GUI really clarified signal flow concepts and how to use the Logic mixing board. Both entertaining and instructive. I give it 5 out of 5. Nice job Peter!

Dynamics
Mar 15, 2014
For the length of the course it's a fair overview about compression. I guess a full guide on how to for dynamics would require several hours on the subject, so if bear that in mind this is a great course.
-BHamester
Nice and easy explanation this will be great for someone who just started (like me) into iOS development. Learned about lot of core details about the framework and process of writing apps.
-Zee
Nice intro course to the new version of logic. Takes you all the way from start to finish so it's quite helpful.
-Ben
This course is simply amazing! I couldn't imagine that mastering could be so enjoyable. Easy to follow and understand, I really liked the tips and the plugins presented here. Since it's about mastering, I recommend to not listen to this course with a 1$ headphone or speaker.

This is an excellent course. I thought I knew 'at least' the basic principles of midi and this course slapped me in the face. Wonderful job on dumbing things down while still using midi lingo. I would most certainly recommend this course to others.

Another great video by J.E. great for those who want to learn how to setup a live performance. You definitely need to know the basics on how to use Maschine 2.0 to understand this video, it will make things easier. Shows his workflow and ideals that you may be helpful in your own workflow. This video also shows you some sampling and mapping techniques as well as how to setup up macros and some some sound designing. Olav is the man! The work flow is very fluent and the knowledge of the controls in each section is briefly but clearly explained great course!

I've always been Fascinated with Synthesizers, after watching this whole series, I can now look at most Synthesizers and have a basic knowledge on how they work and a foundation to manipulating them. Marks passions for synthesis really shine through in these tutorial, I recommend these series to anyone whose new to synthesis like myself and want to really Dig in and get some knowledge about Synthesis.

I bought this course to try it out and see if I could learn anything new (obviously). I have been using Reason for a little over 4 years now, and I do have to say that this video didn't really expose any new tricks for me to use. I will say that it did inspire a couple of ideas that I tried out though. I did want to give it four stars, but I also find that there is a lack of explanation of why certain effects were chosen, or how they work. These videos might be good for a beginner, if you wa...

Live DNA!
Mar 9, 2014
Another great course by the instructors in this group. I almost wanted to say this would have been nice to have in the earlier courses but i can see now how after working with the other tutorials this fits well as a 200 level course. If you new to Ableton this is definitely a must see.
-Dan
A good review of Live's new features, especially the audio to MIDI and compressor features. Enjoyed it!
-Brett C
Thank you Olav! A very smooth script with lots of musical examples. I did learn quite a lot. Thank you.
-Miguel
All I can say is AWESOME! ... great course, especially for musicians that aren't drummers.
-Dan
To start: these are a good set of videos. They cover what you want to know. However, the narrator is the sort that takes a long time to develop a point, and scurries down many tangents. He covers every keyboard shortcut you might encounter while working in a drum rack, how to multi-select midi notes in clip view, why you should compress layered kicks, and how to use a low freq rolloff on every track. If you noticed, some of these concepts don't apply just to a drum rack, and have their own v...

Fairly decent course! I would like to dive a little bit further to monetization and to how google actually pays you.

Recording Guitars
Mar 7, 2014
I was looking to for explanations and how-tos for recording acoustic guitars. This doesn't provide it. Little explanation, a few samples without explanation and a presenter that may know lots but he can't/doesn't explain anything. For example ORTF Technique. What does it stand for? Well it is the title of a chapter here but you won't find an answer. Very disappointed.
-Colin
Most useful course. Thanks for the great knowledge. I suggest this course to everyone.
-Cyberpain
Calculator
Mar 6, 2014
Short and sweet but very complete tutorial with little useful tricks! Thanks!!
-Daniel
Thought this was even better than Gregg's intro to Jazz because it covered a lot more ground in a much deeper/more practical manner. Huge array of ideas/techniques to practice/adapt.
-Carrion Fowl
Advanced Kontakt 5
Mar 6, 2014
Un très bon tutoriel pour Kontakt, si vous comprenez l'Anglais. Très bonne explications , qui donnent le gout d'aller plus loin. Peut-être pourrait-on aller encore plus loin dans un autre cours supplémentaire. Merci encore !

Mixing EDM Tracks
Mar 5, 2014
I think this is one of the best mixing courses on LPV. Having watched a few, I still got some fresh perspective and tips from Mo Volans, who is clear, eloquent and to the point as an instructor. I recommend heartily this course to anyone interested in in-the-box mixing.
-Pecchan
This is exactly what I needed. This makes now more sense and much clear in my sleepy head. I love when it is teaching in a funny way. I laughed so much. Thanks a lot for this. I want more.
-Cherif
I watched this whole course in two days. I learned a lot! Was very informative and useful.
-warrioress
Great speaking style, very comfortable pace, nice attitude/tone. I can hear genuine enthusiasm which contributes to making things interesting. Well done.
-Stefan
This is a great set of tutes that covers all the basic definitions, history & fundamentals of jazz in a practical & fun style. Nice simple approach to scales/chords/methods for improvising...now to practice!
-Carrion Fowl
Some good advice for beginners but the magazine format made watching several tutorials in one sitting rather a repetitive experience.
-Wibbers
This is a great tutorial. Coming from Live 8, it is nice to quickly learn many of the new features in live 9 and put them to use while watching the video.
-Papa Squat
Great course! Learned a ton about Thor, Reason and synths in general. Very good video.
-Glen
Good tutorial which explain in details the functionality of the software. Would have like to have more DJ tricks with the software and hope Olav will make a part 2. But very well done. Thanks.
-Daniel
Great series. It goes through every plug-in Pro Tools has to offer, in great detail. It's a must see for any user, at any level.
-Alton R.
Another great tutorial,by Mo. I have a few of his courses, and Mo's easy going style and vast knowledge ,is unique. This course shows you how useful and powerful Guitar rig is,not just for Guitars, but a whole wide range of instruments, vocals, etc, etc. This is another cracking tutorial, packed with content. I cannot wait to use Guitar rig,and its components in my work.
-David
This is a GREAT course. I have never left feedback before, but this one really deserved it. This is a topic that can be quite a hassle to take care of learning. It's not particularly interesting and we all think we can just wing it. The truth is, the way we manage content is the reason for a project going smoothly or painfully. I also love that this course goes into some detail about how Final Cut Pro X looks at files and some of the codecs for different cameras. It doesn't just stick to the app...
-Jon
This is a VERY helpful course for those new to design and typography. As a video editor - this really gave me great insight and understanding into the type of work I receive from art directors and agencies when working on a project.
-Taryn Calverey
I am very satisfied with Michael's teaching style. He is a great communicator. I have found his tutorials to be a very effective way to learn new software. Thanks Michael and MacProVideo!

Excellent instruction! One of the best here on MPV. Instructor is very knowledgable and takes the time to really break things down.

Producing Hip Hop
Feb 26, 2014
This course is best suited for someone getting started with Logic and who doesn't have full membership to MPV. As an experienced Logic user I didn't get much out of it and a lot of information is already presented in other courses. That being said, it's not a bad course in any way - just not for me. The information is clearly presented with a couple of extra tricks. Recommended for anyone looking for their first course in production with Logic in this style.
-Pecchan
These Cubase courses are an absolute godsend. I have spent ages trying to untangle Cubase by a book, but this makes it all so clear, and refreshes the important bits of information in a helpful way that doesn't interrupt the flow. I have Cubase running on one monitor and MacProVideo on the other, so I can copy what Matthew is doing on my own screen. A great learning tool!
-Anthony Travis
Control Voltage
Feb 25, 2014
Pretty good course. Thoroughly explains the foundation of envelops and modulation which is always good to learn or re-enforce knowledge of synthesis.

Rhythm
Feb 25, 2014
Great course that goes over many of the basics of rhythm! Also compares/contrasts the different styles of music and how they relate to each other with rhythm.
-Neil
This course helped me take a bit more of an organic approach to manipulating the ES2. The approach was more of a "feel" thing rather than a concrete-number angle. I've already gotten some great success just messing around in the general way that our instructor approached it by. Pleasantly surprised by the outcomes and happy accidents I developed while using his techniques!
-Ariel Perez
The detail on Fusor could have been better and could have gone a bit deeper. Good overview however, and well presented in a clear style.
-Brett C
Good course, especially the first section which looks at some common mistakes made when programming drums.
-Wibbers
Great course for any music enthusiast!! Not only does it cover jazz theory, it also explains many different scales and musical patterns that can apply to any genre of music.
-Neil
Great course!! Lots of tips and tricks about how to design the sounds you want using Logic's Amazing ES2!!

Workflow will be effective from now on.This tutorial is by far a must have (35 so far in my queue): clear, effective, inspiring, it defines serious basis and beyond. I'm a newcomer to Native Instruments, and bought this tutorial to,arm me with enough knowledge of Massive,to get me going and making my own sounds I have a few of Mo's other tutorials, and there are great!! So this one was a no brainer for me. Massive is truly that, but under Mo's careful guidance,I can known get stuck in and create my own sounds. After watching this series, I now see how lean and mean "Studio One" is, Gary gives a very comprehensive explanation of how to get around Studio One, awesome overview.
-mooshi3000
Thanks for an amazing tutorial. I've been waiting for this one for years and didn't even know it. Everything is relevant, clearly explained and done so in good detail. If you are new to Logic, this and Core Logic 8 (I know it's dated but I have not seen Logic Pro x 101) are full of everything you need to know. Explained a lot of things that stumped me in my day to day use of using Logic. I really hope there is a follow up and can't wait to see more tutorials from Peter. On top of everything else...

Killer Sound Design
Feb 23, 2014
Not a bad course, but found many of the examples lacking depth. I wish more detail would have been explained in the examples.
-Randy
Amazing course, he covers every aspect in an easy to understand fashion.
-AbletonAddict
Great course for getting familiar with the tools of this software. It clearly show you the power of the built in tools that can easily get users new to music production and audio engineering started in the right direction. Thanks!!

Quickstart Guide
Feb 23, 2014
Excellent introduction to Lightroom. I'm using Lr 5 but I found that all of the concepts presented by Martin were applicable. His explanations of the various features were straightforward and easy to understand and follow along.
-Steve
Another great course by BB. Keeps it fun and exciting even on the simplest of features and lessons.
-Dan
EXCELLENT FOR STARTERS ... LOVE IT ... The way to explain everything in simple words as working on design mode makes everything a lot easier to understand and keep engaged to content.

Mastering Your Mac
Feb 20, 2014
This is a nice way to get more knowledge about the programs on my Mac. Nice that some of the instructors are making jokes. It's easier to listen to it that way. It would be nice, if you have an account, that you can download a couple of courses to listen to if you have no internet connection.
-John Pijnappel
This is a great course, it was a great guide to getting to know a little about wavelab, however a lot of the information about mastering or wavelab tools directly related to mastering was inaccurate or misleading, particularly in the language and use of terms. in the mastering world we almost never use the word "volume" that is a highly misused consumer term. and he often used the word interchangeably with "level" and "monitor level". in pro audio, the word level is used to describe any value ...
-Connor Krummick
As a video novice I found this brief introduction to subjects such as pixel ratio and interlaced video very useful. I'm looking forward to the rest of the courses in this series.
-Wibbers
Short and sweet! Lots of good info for using the arp and all it's cool new features to control things in logic. The part on using it with the drums gave me a lot of new ideas.
-Ben
A useful guide to chord and progressions, etc. Very handy for going back to basics and brushing up on your theory!
-Wibbers
Really enjoyed the review I certainly learned a few things I didn't know, I mainly watched so I could learn how to use the F1 better, He explains it a lot easier than reps from NI I thought, and I got a better sense of fluent robust feel on controlling the controller. Very useful!
-N8VEMERCAN
As expected from SFlogicninga an excellent tutorial. I particularly liked the info on mastering.
-Andrew Dorsett
Great course on audio recording. Easily one of the must watch in orde to become a better sound engineer.

Go Live With Live 9
Feb 18, 2014
Pretty Legit Course. I can see it being rough for people with no Ableton Experience though. I would just have in the caption of 100 and 102 course to make sure users went through the Ableton manual and tutorials first. It helps alot.
-Dan
I thought I just need to learn about mastering but after watching this course found out there is so much I did not know, if you stuck in your ways of doing thinks this may be the for you to breath new light on to things and also show you 1 or 2 things you did not know that may help in your production, very well made course packed with info thats hard to come by
-mellow
I'm sure lots of people have watched videos from various sources but I have to say that this course was particularly informative. While I knew a lot of what was being taught, I learnt more about eq'ing and the various types of compression usage. Knowing that I was on the right track with my own productions has allowed me to approach mixing with a lot more confidence. Many thanks.
-Mark
Bill is my fave teacher because he begins from the bottom up & covers not only the HOW but the WHY of production techniques. Delivered with great taste, warmth, and true individuality. Cheers Bill!
-Carrion Fowl
Rish did a great job. The video not only helped me get accustomed to ES2, but there were plenty of great sound design tips in there too. Certainly worth a watch.

Monark Demystified
Feb 17, 2014
Nice little course, very basic though. It's more like a synth geography lesson for Monark, but fair for its purpose.
-BHamester
Oh yeah!! So hot this tutorial. I'm like a kid in a candy shop... Very very cool stuff into it I just can't stop until I finish it! Exactly what I wanted to learn. Nice job!!!
-Daniel
Very informative. I learned a lot, even though I've been playing around with Logic Pro X for months! Could use a little more volume on the actual instrument tracks versus the voiceover tracks.
-Jonny B
Was just amazing to see this project come together then hear a finished project @ the end! Would love if the next tut in this series had a little more time for A/B listening in the mixing portion.. Good Gig MacPro!

Mastering in Cubase
Feb 16, 2014
Although presented with a Cubase 5 project, this is still well worth watching if using more recent versions of Cubase, as most of the details are still relevant. There is also a good deal of non DAW-specific mastering information that would be useful for anyone wanting to know about mastering on any equipment.

MIDI Demystified
Feb 15, 2014
Midi Demystified, is a well laid out tutorial, for the advanced beginner or intermediate user of Midi such as myself, this here tutorial filed in some blank spots and concepts about midi that, I didn't have a full grasps of, until viewing this Course.

Keyboard Wizdom
Feb 13, 2014
Enjoying going through the lessons and seeing upfront his performances revealing his finger styling and technique. But I wish he gave more detail how he set up his sounds so we know what is required. He demonstrates on a Kurzweil but then performs on the Korg Triton. Is he using the built in sounds of the keyboard or he is hooking up to a DAW with vst plug-ins? If so which library is he using. For his final 3 performances is he going through prearranged presets triggered by his feet? Be...

I've been a fan of SFLogicNinja's tutorials since his YouTube days. This tutorial maintains his high level in every way. Packed with tips, hints and information even for an experienced Logic User. I will need to go back to this course many times to revise all the little things I missed on my first pass. Highly recommended.
-Pecchan
Really great seeing a start to finish project like this one. If your interested in song writing and production you'll like this series

Battery 4 Detonated
Feb 12, 2014
There are some sync issues which make it really hard to follow. Especially on Ep. 11 - the editor tab. What's happening on screen+the sounds from battery are about a minute off from the VO. So it's impossible to follow what's happen (thought I was going crazy for a second). Otherwise, good intro to Battery!
-Mark P
Smart Controls
Feb 12, 2014
As always, Logic Ninja delivers! Very informative and covers a few creative ideas. Good gig MacPro!!

It was basically an art histort course and not really a 101 on Graphic Design as how I expected it. Although this information is interesting and could prove useful.

Remixing in Live
Feb 11, 2014
Watching Olav work on a track from beginning to end once through gave me at one go the gestalt and dozens of small cool things. 'Subtractive remixing' cool idea and now I am encouraged to take the twenty or so incomplete session view sketches and carve out a complete track. By the way, in other videos he has also taken the additive approach. Side chain compression - take mundane sounding chords and listen and learn how to make them pump. The edm form how to get the right build and brea...
-Joe
Another useful tutorial from SFLogicNinja. The topics in this course are not really music making but very relevant regarding sharing files and sessions. The part about mastering I felt was a bit lengthy, especially since the title of the course doesn't really mention that it contains information about mastering, but that too was still worth watching. Highly recommended.
-Pecchan
Great course !! I liked how it flowed from just an idea to a final production. The production technics and explanation for using them them was extremely helpful to me. I was a bit curious about the drums and percussions, were they done by a live drummer or software plug-in
-Joe
Well done, a professional, and greatly interesting overview of iPads potential, I look forward into seeing what can be done with 5th Gen iPad and the new 64 bit architecture now available with new garage band 2014!
-Vern Scott
The tutorial was very enlightening. It showed me quick ways to spice up my tracks. As well as authenticating and uploading tracks directly from the recording program to the internet. Im eager to get started right away!

Using mail in osx every day this sure comes in handy. Optimising workflows sure makes a good improvement in the daily work.
-Jonas
This had numerous tips to help with the Libraries format and storage of FCP 10.1. Ben also touched on so many other features I did not know existed in FCP. Showing how he personally uses the program was great. That is what I look for is workflow styles that I can adapt to my use. Thanks Ben *****
-Waxman
Excellent course!! An essential collection of tips and tricks for any Ableton user!
-Neil
I like the teacher, all very well explained. Not much to say, apart from good job!!!!
-Buffy
Showed me many features that I may not have discovered if had just gone trial and error. I like his teaching style too. The guy is clearly a musician and knows how to use these tools.

MIDI Demystified
Feb 9, 2014
Excellent course! It really helped me to understand the possibilities I have with all the different gear I own!
-Bob
Before I viewed this course, there were areas/plugins within Cubase I dared not touch because none of it made sense - I was intimidated by them. Matthew removed all my anxiety and empowered me to embrace things such as LoopMash FX, Groove Agent and even the Media Bay. I never knew (let alone felt comfortable with) how powerful/accessible Cubase was until Matthew showed me here. Invaluable!
-Stephen Letnes
I especially like the tips in the end of this tout. Good stuff they really helps.
-Jonas
Getting Organized!
Feb 6, 2014
Very nice indeed. I did not know that versions could be this useful. A lot of features is poorly explained from apple so its great to see them more in depth here.
-Jonas
Two really wonderful plug-ins that gets the attention they deserve. A great tutorial with lots of interesting details.
-Sebastian Nässén
Very basic but also very good explained. I have used mac os for several years but there is always something you miss!

This course explains very well. Though i'm still learn how to know the plugins the drummer when i first open a new create track. It's great.
-Xeng Lee
This was an excellent tutorial! Very clear in it's presentation, information was presented in digestible segments that were easy to understand and put to immediate use working on my MPC Studio. If you are trying to get familiar with the new generation of MPCs then you need to start here.
-Urban Prayz Productions
I won't say it isn't worth watching, but to be fair it's more of geography lessons of the synth than how to use it. The last 5 videos were like watching someone randomly play around the knobs rather than what they do or why they do what they do.
-BHamester
Excelent, everything very well explained, every little detail, I'm definitely going for the Advance Course over Kontakt, nice
-Marlon Castro

Designing Timbres
Feb 5, 2014
This is a great series. Even if I don't own any of these synths I get a lot of ideas for sound creation and also a greater understanding of sound synthesis in general.
-Jonas
It's a good tutorial, although I think it could have more information about the EFM1 since FM is know as a very challenging way to create your own presets.
-BHamester
Iris Explored
Feb 5, 2014
Another clear and concise exploration. Nowadays when buying a new software, I watch a MacProVideo about it (if available) right away to get started quicker.
-Pecchan
All of Matthew's courses are excellent, but I found this one particularly helpful, dealing as it does with the more advanced midi functions and capability of Cubase. This has really encouraged me to delve into areas of editing that I have previously left well alone!
-Wibbers
Made me want to visit Venice. Enjoyed this introduction to graphic design very much, even as a novice. Will check out the next one for sure.

WordPress Basics
Jan 31, 2014
Good course, but it left me wondering how to upload the site I designed in Wordpress installed in my computer to Wordpress online.
-Harold Ward
Matt presents the topic well, but I was disappointed by the over all lack of depth. Particularly with Fusor's Animator which was glossed over very quickly. I was hoping to gain a little bit of expert knowledge and a deeper understanding of the software, but instead got a refresher course.

A great insight into the new functionality and explained clearly in a way that anyone can understand!

Razor
Jan 30, 2014
I kind of did this on a whim, didn't know what to expect. I've always liked Razor presets and played around with them and liked them, but never considered how deep, flexible and unique of a synth it is. I'm blown away! What a clear tutorial with fun walkthroughs of completely different types of patches- bass, pad, lead, choir, even vocoder. All covered. I have a feeling Razor will be a mainstay in my arsenal for a long time. Thanks!
-nvaleri
Very informative but looking for something even more fundamental! Understanding the vocabulary is have the battle. Listened to many segments several times over to grasp concept and spent time doing additional research. I'll revisit the course.
-Vivienne
I really enjoyed this course, and learned a few new techniques for creating backgrounds with Illustrator.
-Mr Taylor
This tutorial does what it says on the box and does it fine. Whenever a new version of major music software like Live comes out, it's easy to overlook often simple but powerful new features. Reading about them in the manual sometimes doesn't contextualise what's so helpful about them. This tutorial adds that context and will no doubt inspire some ideas of your own on how to use the new features.

Moldover's original Controlllerism vid got me performing live when I had no idea how I was gonna do that, and this 2014 Sound Control tute is an extended update on his ideas and techniques. There are lots of good suggestions here for ways you can manage and produce your ideas in Live 9 in tandem with hardware controllers. The most technical detail is probably given on the setup behind the Robocaster (midi + fx guitar). If you're a total newbie to controllerism, you may come away wanting a bit mo...

Olav's cool and calm way of describing walking you through the Logic application and techniques to edit audio is wonderful. A really nice tutorial that gives a ton of knowledge for both beginners and more experienced users.

Steve H is always entertaining and knowledgeable. A really good walkthrough of all the ins and outs of the new version of Logic.

Battery 4 Detonated
Jan 29, 2014
Recently upgraded to Komplete but had never used Battery before. Feel like I know how to get around all areas of it now. Great tutorial.
-Rob S
I have been waiting for a tutorial like this for so long, and almost all of my questions are answered. I have tried for 2 years to use logic instead og Sibelius for my score work because of all the other possibilities Logic provides - and now I can, thanks to Peter's videos. It has cut my working time in half, and many hours of pulling my hair are over. Thank you from the bottom of my heart
-Thomas Zinther
Great course for giving the fundamentals and tools to build from! Olav skips over some little points, but these you can simply investigate on your own. If you have the S2 or 4 though you'll need to do some self-discovery as its interface is not covered within this tutorial.
-Dason Johnson
Takes a while to get to the juicy bits but this is still a quick and informative tutorial.
-Earwig
info is good- but it is too wordy....I don't need to hear and see as many reps as are presented.... shorter and concise would be more appealing to me, as well as a better streamlined learning tool for me.
-liz
Another good course in this series about music business. I learned a heck of a lot of good information. Thanks.
-Mr Taylor
It's quite interesting to watch another artist form of composing. Everybody has a different way to start the creative process. I recommend.
-BHamester
Thanks David, that's a great introduction - easy to follow................
-Very Good introduction
Great course. Good workflow starting from the sketch, to session view, up to arrangement. Very good explanation. Thank you, Olav.

Lots of great information on signal flow within Logic. Applicable to all DAWs really.
-Rob S
Great Tutorial!! I'm coming from PC and was looking for the forward delete key... Also good to know how to get the keyboard key on screen and see what is hide behind each key. Very useful tutorial for me. :)
-Daniel
You'll definitely pick up a few new little tips and tricks in regards to mixing for this video. Loved the use of binaural panning.

Alligator
Jan 27, 2014
When the alligator is on, the sound is too much processed, maybe it's done on purpose to show the full effect, but I don't like the result. However, good to learn the "On" switch and volume at the bottom right to get sound.

This course is just great! The best logic course I have gone through so far because it really shows you to use logic to make music...Well done !
-Eric
I found a lot of useful tips in this tutorial, things I never would've thought of. I look forward to more of David's Logic tutorials.
-G.F. Big
Another excellent course from Matt, well up to the high standards of his previous Cubase tutorials. Essential viewing for anyone upgrading from Cubase 7.0.
-Wibbers
Awesome Course... Eric Freeman and Elisabeth Robson have done a great job. I am eagerly waiting to be part of their future courses(especially: java script programming, Design patterns,Html5 programming and other courses)

Very insightful look at the creative process from both the writing and engineering angle. A most impressive collaboration. Great job on this video...can't wait to see more
-Carey
Sometimes is not necessary hi end studio equipment , biggest producer in the world or super great musicians to create and record very nice and lovely song. Only one things is a matter - each person must know what to do and how. After watching all songcraft tutorials, for me in that video there was no secret revealed , but was big pleasure to watching how guys developed from one phrase and one riff whole song . I recomend for any one who interested about recording. Especially in home condition...

This was another excellent WP course I learned a lot of good stuff and resources to continue learning. Thanks.

Exploring Kontakt 5
Jan 25, 2014
This was a great course. Thank you Matt for taking the time and laying everything out in such a clear and concise manner. I had Kontact Player that came with Strings Pro that I bought at GC. I watched this course in order to familiarize myself enough to effectively use the software. After watching the first two tutorials I was convinced that I would need to get the full version of Kontact. I ended up spending $100 more and got Komplete 9. I am so glad that I did. Thanks again, this is goi...

Monark Demystified
Jan 24, 2014
Great overview, covers the entire program in detail. Learned a lot, thanks!
-nvaleri
A very insightful course. I definitely learnt a great deal here, and will be coming back to try out a lot of what was taught here.
-Anthony
Great to see a musician of high esteem experimenting with Push , and refreshing to see someone from a non dance music background showing what can be done . I am already a believer in Ableton live , but many of my colleagues ( music educators ) dont see electronic music as a serious art form .... This course will definately help them too see the light ... I hope !!! thanks for an inspiring course.
-David Murray
Michael Wohl (FINAL CUT PRO X) - excellent course and brilliant tutor!!
-Andrew Green
Absolute Absynth
Jan 23, 2014
This is not for the faint of heart. Goes through EVERY DETAIL of the core controls of Absynth- a full tour of the software. However I imagine a lighter survey course would not do Absynth justice, deep as it is. If you really want to find out what makes this software tick, this is for you. Thanks for the great overview!

Go Live With Live 9
Jan 23, 2014
Tutor was interesting, but for a 101 course I was expecting an introduction to music production in terms of track creation and recording rather than just on the live element only.
-Aidjay
I really enjoyed how this course covered the basic introduction to protools and also included an introduction to sound characteristics!.
-BC
Clear & concise. I really liked the explanation. Nicely organized. Great interface.
-Bob

The ART of EDM
Jan 22, 2014
One of the best courses in the macprovideo library in terms of fun, creativity, number of "industry secrets" demystified, and just plain entertaining and warm personality- a huge winner. Every bit as good as Martin Sitter's classic core Logic videos.
-Justin Cash
A really nice view on the push from a great artist. Nice to see how you can learn to play the push and treat it as an instrument.
-Jonas
MIDI Demystified
Jan 22, 2014
Thank you for this great tutorial. It's really helpful to me to deepen my MIDI understanding - good examples, very good drawings and didactics. However, the attempted comedy parts and especially the producer were annoying and felt to me like a waste of time. I would prefer the information to be presented without distractions.
-Great tutorial - helped me a lot
Very basic but good if you want to get started with push. Very easy to follow along.
-Jonas
Very Practical, Very complete, Very well explained, just a little bit time wasting when at some points, because he doesn't go straight to the point, very it is a very good course in general
-Marlon Castro
Excellent course!! It covers a wide range of concepts and skills about signal flow in Logic X, and they can be applied to any studio setup!
-Neil
Core Omnisphere
Jan 21, 2014
Thanks for everything, especially for explaining the basics of synthesis!
-Gabriel BG
The subtleties of color correction can be easily overlooked. Getting it right is crucial for pro-level work. This is NOT an area to breeze over as unimportant. This training covers the top well. Better yet, there is a wealth of productive techniques covered that make this course MORE than color correction. The techniques and shortcuts for productivity (the sub-story) of this training are the real hero within. Lot's of note taking will pay off for this session. I'll be back for a refresher at som...

I thought it was very insightful for any beginner to grasp video techniques using their DSLR camera.

The Filter
Jan 20, 2014
Very interesting and made easy to understand! Also fun to see same thing on many different synthesizers.
-Jonas
Just great information about snap and drag. I use Logic already 3 years and just now find these functions. Thanks
-Povilas
It's so amazing observing the various ways different artists get inspired and creative. This is an amazing set of videos on creative writing. I have definitely learnt a lot, and been inspired.
-Anthony
This is a great tutorial. I was admittedly intimidated by this synth, and though it's still super complex I feel like I have a pretty basic grasp on what it can do, enough to jump in and start messing around. Very personable tone through the whole thing, which helps. Thanks!
-nvaleri
I dropped in out of curiosity and felt motivated to start drawing again after decades of neglecting that fun craft. Not sure if I will have the time to indulge and get up to speed to actually do storyboarding in the end, but I will certainly reference this tutorial a few more times for the drawing primers. Loved it!
-Till
If you record ever vocals, you NEED to watch this. It really is as simple as that!

Nice and easy entry level tutorial for people who want to learn a little bit about images and how they are used in web pages. Also covers some CSS and modifying images with style.
-C1ph3rd
Great Course. I just intended to watch the first chapter tonight, and ended up watching the whole course. Really nice to watch the process, and some specifics of engineering as well. Great song. Informative and inspiring course.
-Eric Thal
Truly enjoyed this course. Excellent information presented well, with a great sense of humor and style. Fantastic.
-William
thank you, thank you, thank you...absolutely brilliant, peter. very informative; just what i wanted to learn. i'll be spending hours with this course. ps, did i say thank you?!? cheers
-alx
Good overview of using Amplitube 3. Fairly high level - not much digging into the details.
-C1ph3rd
Another informative and entertaining tutorial, I was however hoping for a bit more depth in the topics covered (lot of topics not much depth). But really whet's the brainbuds to further study!
-Toby the Hat
Interesting look into the thought process of making music for games, including managing sounds in 3D environments and sound layering. Cool stuff!
-C1ph3rd
Good review of some of the basic things you will want to know to use your DSLR for video, including lenses, lighting, data management, etc.
-C1ph3rd
Great peek into writing a song with Bend Sinister. Also enjoyed engineer's notes on the mix.
-Ed Candeo
Very good course. Filled with great tips and a very hands on, practical approach. Recommended.
-Sebsteeno
From a beginners perspective I really enjoyed this and will have to dip back in to really grasp some of the key points. Matt does a great job of keeping the interest and not 'waffling'. I'd love to know the gear and workings of the tutorial shoot. Looking forward to the next course...
-Toby the Hat
This man is superb. Not only as a teacher/instructor, but as a person as well, I presume. Peter for president!
-Robart
Just great. When I started this course, I didn't know will it be useful for me or not. And first time I understand what are Busses for in Logic. Thanks :)
-Povilas
Great introduction to someone who has had very little exposure to the camera world. Informative and simple, on to the next course....
-Toby the Hat
Very clearly presented and helpful information. Highly Recommended.
-Harold Ward
I really liked this intro to organizing clips in FCPX. I thought it would be boring, but it really is essential to graps these concepts before diving into FCPX.
-Christian
This is an excellent course. There's so much packed into this package; and I doubt if there's anywhere else besides macprovideo.com that one would be able to get this kind of in-depth tutoring. Steve is fantastic.
-Anthony
Lots of useful information in this course about using Illustrator to manipulate 3D objects and designs.
-Mr Taylor
An excellent way to learn and review all the theory essential to songwriting. With examples, exercises built in, and a well presented cumulative knowledge base, this course took my writing to a more interesting harmonic level. Parallel diatonic minor chord substitutions are so useful and prevalent in music... You will hear the things you learn here everywhere!
-Trev
PROPER class! It cleared up so many little things that I originally was fuzzy on. Thanks for clearing that fog!
-Ariel Perez
This was another good course, I learned a little bit more about the capabilities of Adobe Illustrator.
-Mr Taylor
This was awesome. This course drove home some of the facts that were swimming in my mind from other courses and allowed me to put a couple of things into practice. The light manner in which the instructor teaches keeps the student not only engaged but also encourages the student to open up Logic and play along with him. I was able to dust off some of my plugins and while twisting and turning knobs like a small child, I was able to grasp understanding of what those knobs were called and what ...
-Rachelle
Love this tutorial, everything is explained in a way that anyone can understand... Keep it up!

EQ
Jan 14, 2014
The course by no means will get you up and running on your own projects, however it is a great overview of what EQing is. There are many instances in which I realized that I do not yet have the ear to differentiate between the subtle changes in sound. If nothing else this course will show the student their strengths and weaknesses, so that they can go forth and get training to help them in these endeavors.
