Outstanding tutorial. NI should be ashamed at the terrible manual it provided with Kore 2. Not only is it riddled with mistakes, it is terrible in explaining how to use the product. Freiman's tutorial is spot on and he very clearly takes you through the steps. It's too bad that MacProVideo doesn't do a tutorial on Complete 6. That would be the perfect compliment.

Being a switcher to Mac I found the training fantastic. It starts at the very basic and take you a long way into advanced concepts. I look forward to buy more trainings from MacProVideo to get me up to the speed. Highly recommended to everyone.

Excellent for tutorials even if I would love to get deeper

I really enjoyed the Making Electronic Dance Music with Olav Basoski, but i knew a lot about what he was doing in the videos. Although i did pick up some cool new tips and it was very good to get inside the mind of a top class producer, but i was wonder if there will be more very advanced videos coming out from Olav? I think a next level or more advanced level would be a great follow up to progress the track in to something that is dance floor credible. Keep up the great tutorials. :)

This is excellent tutorial. I learn a lot from it. A must have.

The tutorials are fine, clear and precise. However, like all video tutorials, they would be immensely helped by a printed version of the commentary so that one could return to certain passages while trying our the various techniques on one's own time. I believe that many would pay some modest extra sum for this addition. And it needn't cost much to provide. After all, you already have the scripted text and you could just put it on a PDF.

Very thorough, clearly explains all the important functions. The examples are great. Worth every penny.

You can not go past the time and the mistakes you will save making by using this product, I converted from Sony Vegas to Edius and the conversation was painless. Try Edius with the online version for a day and then buy the download. I flick back to it often.

This is just a great video. I realized that 3 hours ago before I watched the entire thing, I had very little understanding of flex mode. I especially like the way Steve finishes the video out with some cool experimentation.

As an Apple Certified Logic Pro 9 Trainer, i am very particular about each training method i come across. I must say Steve Horelick has an excellent understanding of the Logic Pro application and a good presentation technique.Informative and Entertaining, well done Steve.

The Logic TnT series of tutorials are probably my favourites, and I expect 'TnT 3: Reloaded' to be no exception. The demonstration, in chapter one, of how to create very nice, warm, atmospheric pads is a great start. A couple of the pads I found reminiscent of W. Carlo's patches from 'A clockwork Orange.' If I were to get the kind of training found in this tutorial through personal consultation or lessons it would range in the $1000s of dollars. This isn't a "quick start" tutorial... this is an EXTREMELY detailed look into Live... Imagine reading the entire Ableton Live manual (minus the anxiety and headache involved). That's what I feel like I've done after watching this tutorial. All I can say is: I hope MPV continues their amazing vision with many more Live, Logic and Audio recording tutorials...

This is the first of the new TNT 3 series. As with all the tutorials made for logic there is simply such a vast depth to the programme that most of us will not need all of the tutorial material. Very nice tutorial on mixing R&B. It took me a while to get used to David's presentation method, and I'm glad I took the time. What a difference his mix made! The techniques presented can be applied to any style of music, and he lays them out clearly. I just wish I had watched this when I first started working with trying to put a mix together. Finally - MainStage 101 does more than teach the basics. I found Bill's style of teaching excellent as he shares many tips that help simplify using MainStage 2. I am looking forward to 201.

Matthews way of teaching makes you want to pay attention. He goes over not just what the chapter is for, but also the things you need to know to understand that chapter.

Reason has been eliminated for use by Logic/Mainstage due to 64-bit which is obviously ahead of the rest of the companies and their plug-ins. Come on plug-in people get with the program.

Great tutorial with easy to follow demonstrations. Would like to see an update now for this video using logic 9.

Steve H is brilliant as always. I'd love to see a "part 2" go even further, delving into techniques for dialogue replacement, industry standards for film/video/DVD mixing levels and workflow with Final Cut Pro and SoundTrack Pro (boy, have I learned a few nasty lessons the hard way there). But the best part... the Uranus pun, as predictable as it was, gave me the biggest belly-laugh I've had in a long time. Took me five minutes to recompose myself. :-)

Good foundation for the plug in. I liked the "Black Smoke" Analogy and the Spectrum analyzer gave an inside view of how Melodyne is thinking. Would like to see a follow up video with some hard core Tempo manipulating and deeper technical applications. Still easy to understand and a great starter video for the newbie.

I thought this tutorial series was right on. It had lots of good info about stuff I didn't know how to do, and also stuff I didn't know I didn't know. The methodology was clear and pretty bombproof and I just used it scoring a documentary. Major highlights: tempos, and how to derive them using the tempo ops. including beat mapping to scenes. Overall, this is a really great tutorial. Steve H presents some really great tips that aren't found in the manual or anywhere else.

A good, all-round attempt at explaining a process that many people find intimidating. The processes involved to bring out the best in a good mix are well-described. More could be said about the mastering environments - any mastering process will never manage to compensate for a poor monitoring environment, but this tutorial describes the basics of mastering in a thoughtful way.

Very nice for a new user to get some experience with Final Cut Pro. My first Mac and I am in the deep end learning how to edit movies from my Canon 5DMKII. I must say I am impressed with the results and I know that as I spend more time with the tutorials I will get more expertise. Thanks for a great product

So far very impressed alot of easy to follow yet detailed video tutorials. Highly recommended. The funny thing is this says it isn't available yet but it downloaded with most of the videos and says there are more to come (it shows 33 videos so far) so its going to be interesting to watch the rest as i have already found this great.

When I first opened Sculpture, my first thought was: "yikes! this looks cool. yikes! this looks really, really complicated!!." Fear not! Steve will guide you through it all step by step, WITH sound in the background, which is incredibly helpful. I've only been watching for about an hour, and am already making very cool sounds with Sculpture. This is a very powerful instrument, and an EXCELLENT tutorial. Five stars!

Although Sibelius is not considered to be a difficult program, it is easy to for a self-taught person to get into habits that are "the long way around and becoming frustrated as a result. I found that my time spent here was well worth it and I highly recommend it for new to intermediate users of the program.

I've wanted to learn iWeb for awhile. Not that hard to navigate, but wanted to learn it as efficiently as possible. Watched this video and the first one a few times while exercising, and then built a fairly robust website in about 4 hours. Would ordinarily have taken me a few days of trial and error. i have had music lesson from members of the Mpls Symphony since i was 7. Jordan's lessons are easy to absorb and fascinating to observe his analytical genius. He has the rare ability to take the technically difficult and "intellectually marinate it" so tha the student can readily absorb his demonstration and translate it to our own keyboard. Jordan is a musical Genius and i feel fortunate to have his tutorial so readily accessable to me.

On the whole this is a very good entry level course on Reason 4. I agree with the comment below that an advanced and/or intermediate course is now long overdue. I should like to see a course on Propellerhead Record too, especially as this is something that integrates seamlessly with Reason 4.

This is such a great introduction to Native Instruments. The individual tutorials aren't all that in-depth, but they give you enough information to make it a lot easier to explore further on your own.

This introduction to Kontakt is well laid out and presented. Scott Freiman presents the information clearly and in an interesting manner. The turorial videos are firmly aimed at the beginner. I look forward to learning the more advanced features of Kontakt in the next release.

First off I would have to say the Michael Wohl wrote the book on Color Correction. He not only take you through the functions of Color, but explains the "whys" of Color. Great for anyone who works with FCP and Color, beginner or expert.

I have read many articles and watched a few videos about mastering but they did not give me much more than a grasp of the basic concepts. I have read the classic 'Mastering Audio' by Bob Katz which is a great on theory but sketchy on the practicalities. 'Mastering in Pro Tools' is an amazing opportunity to watch an expert at work, to understand how he evaluates the mix and to learn how he applies eq and compression to address problem areas. This is by far the best tutorial I have ever purchased.I have been using cubase for years and this tutorial totally opened doors and taught me tips and tricks I had no idea about.Totally worth the money and the time!!! I only hope there's more to come from Matt,he's a great instructor.I can't recommend this enough to any cubase users out there...i wish I had this years ago!

The practice sections are excellent - just like having an instructor in your room, and the sections on layering instruments interesting although not especially revealing. The solos are great to watch and listen to but have no tutorial aspects, which is disappointing. What stands out though is the character of Jordan - a superstar without an attitude - just great professionalism and an engaging manner.

I liked the tutorial. Jordan is a great teacher / musician and uses his years of experience to help you with warm-ups and overall playing approach while keeping it serious, but fun!! Watching Jordan makes me feel like an abject failure, that I have spent my life without vision, talent, or purpose. I have found this tutorial to be invaluable in getting me started using Logic Pro. CLear bite-sized presentations by Martin Sitter with a well organized outline of key elements of this deep and (to me) complicated program. I have really appreciated his use of key commands to help speed the work-flow. I have made good use of the notes section for each video to highlight key points to which I can easily refer. I have come back to this video several times to cement my understanding.

The videos took an extremely long time to download into the N.E.D. app and the download procedure was a little confusing but it was worth the effort because I finally understand CSS. I had already used a tutorial from another company and just couldn't make the right connections. The Macpro videos are well organized in sequence and each video is short and concise, making it possible for me to stay focused and retain the information presented.

Useful and a big help in getting started with Final Cut. I'm using FC Express: it would have been useful to have some indications of the differences (although they are minor with respect to the content of these tutorials). I'm completely new to the software, but was able to edit a 12 scene DVD from raw DV tape in a couple of hours including titles, animations, transitions, image correction (lighting mainly) and audio edits. I guess that's a credit to the software and the tutorials.

I highly recommend this tutorial. It'll take a while for you to get the best out of Kore 2 using the manual and asking questions on forums. This covers everything in reasonable detail with clear examples. There's a lot in it but it's divided up into many bite-size parts and is well indexed so you can go back and reference any part of the programme. It is well presented, easy to follow, simple to learn and can be to hand when required.

The tutorial was very well done. Francesco's descriptions were very methodical and clear, and the occasional repetition of the sequences is helpful. My only suggestion regarding future videos is it seemed that the audio portion was recorded a bit hot, and I detected digital clipping from time to time. Of course, that has little to do with the educational content, but it was slightly distracting at times.

Like a number of other reviewers I found this tutorial excellent. Having only recently started using Logic I found the workflow tips extremely useful and relevant to my style of music production. Olav's presentation style is both educational and inspirational. Full marks, another quality tutorial product.

The subtleties of this genre are masterfully covered by David Isaac. I hope to see more from this teacher and would definitely purchase any of his collections. This has been one of the best investments I've made thus far for my production company.

nice to have logic on 64-bit. But this new version is not as streamlined as it should be. For instance. If you load a movie in logic 64 bit and try to export audio to movie you will see that the export function is gone . Don't know why? And of course, we have to wait till all the plugs from other companies are in 64 bit to feel the real power.

Core Final Cut 7 is an excellent training tool. I have watched the video twice in entirety and just started working through the lessons, with a more grounded understanding of FCP 7. and a much improved sense of editing. I enjoy the the way the material is presented and how the lesson's points are made and re-enforced by the visual examples. The pace is fine and the progression of skill sets make sense and help build confidence in learning, and my edit execution.

The videoes are just fantastic! I´ve tried to figure things for many years in Logic. Yes, it´s a marvelous program but I´ve had big trouble getting in to it. This is the first time I don´t mostley feel frustrated. I´ve seen no. 45 out of 260. Many more to go.

I am just through the basic steps but I have to say what an awesome tutorial. I love the upbeat friendly style of the tutor. Great job Mr. Burgess! I am looking forward to more tutorials on Ableton Live. This is an excellent way to learn. Not just from a teacher who may or may not know the software well enough, but from a master who has a massive amount of experience as a musician/producer.

Although I have only viewed perhaps 10% of the material included in this package, the video clips viewed so far have each exceeded my expectations by a good margin. My use of Final Cut Pro is sporadic and the learning curve tends to fade between one job and the next. These tutorials are the perfect way to both build new skills and polish up rusty ones.

This tutorial is a fantastic step-by-step introduction to the awesome Spectraonsics synth but it also serves as a great primer for synthesis in general! I have been playing synths since the early 80's but haven't properly understood what I am doing, so this is great for me. I really appreciate Jonathan Perl's engaging & laid back style ("Munchkinization" vs. "Darth Vader-ization" will stick with me forever now!) and excellent examples of techniques and complex ideas. Bravo!

Clear. Great coverage for getting started. My only disappointment was the large amount of time on the subject of sound in the beginning. Getting into editing soundwaves as the first chapter???? Many Logic Pro users may end up getting FC Express for music video production. The bonus is that we still get to use SoundTrack Pro from Logic. The inclusion of Martin's SoundTrack Pro tutorial where he shows noise reduction of feature as well as script automation is well worth a *free* admission.

I knew quite a few things already by just looking at others and just doing it. But a friend noted me on this tutorial so i watched it. Its a clear lesson which shows you the tricks around logic and i liked it very much. Not to many big words, and if there where, you get them explainend, very handy if english isn't your native language.

I feel this training will probably be used by a lot of people either new to computers or switchers from Windows. As such I felt the author over emphasized the possibility of someone gaining unauthorized access to their Mac. These kind of warnings belongs in the Security section of training but not in as many places as he put them. His over emphasis might lead to the feeling that the Mac is not as safe as it is. If he updates the training I hope he puts these warnings in the proper location...

Wow - I'd been trying to figure out Logic Pro 9 on my own and it appears very overwhelming without any starting knowledge. This course explains all the basics and then some! Basically - excellent, Martin demonstrates the use of Logic to build a song from zero and gives an enjoyable, humorous and very informative description which has given me the confidence to use Logic on every music project. I'd give this tutorial 3.5 stars. It was a great tutorial in many respects, and I especially learned a lot about setting up MIDI in the environment. This was a particularly useful tutorial as I had questions on how to connect & configure external instruments for the use with Logic. This tutorial was then recommended to me. Another great tutorial from Olav and the explanation of things is excellent for both the beginner and experienced viewer. Olav really is great at doing these tutorials and makes them fun to watch. My only niggle would be that the audio quality of the tutorials sounds slightly distorted to me compared to the other ones I have bought so for this reason only I give it a 4 star rather than the 5 it deserves.

I had head a lot of these terms before, but never knew what they meant. This was a really nice overview of the basics that used some great examples to explain things. I know more now than I did only a half hour ago!

Overall good tutorial, but compared to the 20 +/- videos I've watched from this site (mainly by Steve H. and Martin), the two I just picked up (this and Confessions of a DnB...) felt slightly lightweight. Whereas the others were meat and potatoes, this felt like nouvelle cuisine - still tasty as hell, but less on the plate....

This is a very comprehensive and detailed tutorial covering all important (and not so important) features of PT8. It is nicely structured in short units, which makes it easy to pick up where you left off. All in all an excellent job and great buy for the money.

A pretty good tutorial. I had been messing with Mainstage, and this helped me to learn a few features that I'd missed during my tinkering. In future tutorials, it would be nice to show how to use AmpliTube 2 as a Mainstage plugin as well (it's a little tricky to setup), and maybe how to use a foot controller (like the new Apogee Gio).

This was a very fascinating dive into the basics and principles of synthesis. I found it very fascinating altogether. Richard can be a bit hard to follow at times (in comparison to other MPV professors), but in keeping focused, you will saturate most of what he brings to the table. Very informative, and considered a requirement for anyone getting into digital audio production!

Steve can be absolutely hilarious, and the way he teaches is pleasant and composed, that sometimes you forget you're learning sophisticated Logic technique. This is a fantastic tutorial.

This is a good video series. Only issue is that they have now released Komplete 6 which has quite a few differences. Also the guy talked about Kore quite a bit and Kore is not in Komplete. I am quite happy with most of it and it is mainly the fact that Komplete has been updated that downgrades this to 3 stars

What could be better than to have one of Apple's developers of Logic and Mainstage walk you through the software. Bill's great at letting you know how the software thinks and offers a lot of Apple interface knowledge as well. I have been on a Mac since 1989 and thought I knew most of it. He also offers hardware interface solutions which is key to having the software work for you rather than you work for the software in an onstage live situation.

I'm brand new to Ableton Live and started this tutorial with virtually little to no knowledge of the product. Bill Burgess is definitely one of the best presenters I have heard. It never got old. It took me a few days/late nights to get through it all (I paused a lot and followed along in Live) but it was well worth it.

Very thorough, accessible, and engaging. I really gained a new understanding of iMovie '09 that made me excited to get to work. I watched it all the way through, but it's broken up into individual videos that make it easy to refer back to on an as-needed basis.

I really enjoyed this. Just enough detail to get an idea of what's going on, without going overboard (I'm new to Cubase). I hope the same presenter is used for all the tutorials because he's very clear and concise in his remarks!

I really appreciate the structure of the Omnisphere educational video. I enjoy it especially because i can learn fast and in the right way how to use and take more benefits of this incredible instrument...definitively a good job from macprovideo's team!!!

Initially I had some trouble with getting ned to work as I am running windows vista 64, crappiest os ever :) That being said this tutorial is amazing!!! The instructor knows what he's talking about, shows lots of cool techniques and is actually a great musician. Finding this combination in a video tutorial is very difficult. Enough said buy this tutorial if you want to learn Live and be inspired.

The tutorial is great taking me through recording a song from start to finish,its just what I needed a clear concise tutorial.I use it often when I need help with my projects and I even got exposed to a genre of music I would not normally listen to. Thanks Martin

A very inspiring and helpful tutorial. As a teacher, engineer and musician I´m familiar with most of the issues. But things are so brilliantly explained here, that I become a better teacher: F.ex explaining sample and bit rate, compressor attack settings and much more....... The Multipressor...This is where I often run wild. I could use e few more practical examples, tips and tricks, to get a good result. I´ll most certainly go for more tutorials! JanD

A+ to Bill for this tutorial. All was clear except some parts on Warping. I thought there could have been a little more basic Warping info. Maybe it's me, but I am still a little unclear about all the ways Warping could be used. All in all, this is a very informative tutorial and well worth the bucks. I agree with some previous posters. It is a very good tutorial but he utilizes some plugins that are not native to Logic, and some of them make a huge difference in the sound. I enjoyed it a lot.

The great thing about Logic is that it caters for those starting out on music production right up to the most sophisticated technicians at the highest end of the industry - like Steve H. Each tutorial in the Logic series provides highly detailed elements of the, in my view, the very best of DAWs. The real beauty is that you can be as simple or as sophisticated as you wish. I would say that Flex Editing is at the higher end of the scale but if you wish to add this aspect of music production...

The new techniques used with flex-time editing are very clearly and logically explained. With all the MacPro videos I use two screens, one with the tutorial and the other with an open work file. The short simple descriptions in each tutorial make it possible quickly to become familiar with new and/or updated function without having to put time aside to study them.

Though not quite finished with this training program yet, I will say it's been enormously helpful in getting me up to speed with FCP. Michael presents in a very relaxed conversational manner which I found to be well suited to the material. He clearly knows his stuff!

A real useful presentation of the new features in Cubase 5. Especially the automation part and the beat designer. Some information of the new reverb was totally new for me and I really enjoyed watching.

Lots of accurate, tightly packed info. Frequently pressing pause while I do what Mark is doing. Having the tutorial on a different computer than the application removes the tediousness of going back and forth. It is permissible to install on up to 3 computers.

Amazing tutorial! I can now fix many of the issues I have been struggling with in the mastering process. The explanation of musical concept applied to Logic Plug-In is well worth the price of admission.

Wow I went from a "what is a synth" to a "I am a synth" guy in 3 hours. We bought this synth to our studio and now I finally knows how to use it. No need for more synths in studio :-) This was the best invested money in a long time.

a must for all new to Logic!! Im a new mac user also so making the leap from pc, and with only my experimental knowledge of cubase LE i had the basic principles of recording etc. I also use a midi drum kit so my midi editing knowledge was there, but basic. This guide not only gave me confidence in using logic pro, but gave me invaluable tips and tricks in structuring my songs, im a drummer in a rock band, so whilst the music generated in the turoial was dance/r&b it still was very impressive...

I like that the video digs a little deeper into the effects and gives solid examples on how to use the FX in different situations (send, insert, etc). The vocoder section is easy to understand. This video collection give a good solid overview of Reason 4 and all its components. Some of the videos are a bit short, but thats ok. All in all its a good place to start for any beginning reason user

This tutorial really helped me get a headstart into Ableton - especially with the session view which was totally new to work with. Its also loaded with a lot of tips and tricks in most lessons. Martin drawls a little and IMHO, it could have been a little faster

These Logic TNT tutorials are very useful and provide lots of tricks that I can go and apply to my already existing projects as well as new ones. Simply put, I am much more able to realise my musical inspiration than I used to be. These techniques give artists alot of creative ammunition.

Steve H, what can I say? I have been to college and paid big bucks to learn more about audio production. I wish I had saved my money and downloaded your tutorials earlier. Steve explains very complicated concepts very carefully in easily digestible language. I absorb the know how very quickly and enjoy the learning process. This is one of the tutorials that I was waiting for! Finally a tut that goes indepth of the 'dark art' of mastering. A bit of a warning. After whatching this you are probably going to buy new third party plugins! :)

On the whole I think this tutorial is great! Covers the basics of how to use each element of Reason 4. I was already familiar with Reason, so I just wanted to get some extra tips and some help with a few instruments that I wasn't too familiar with, so I got what I was looking for.

I'm fascinated by Ableton Live & M. Delaney is a great expert but his teaching style might be too layed back for me, in his tone of voice there was not enough pointers to specifics , he slides though lessons evenly as if reading an instruction manual. He knows this app so well I'm sure he could teach Ableton in his sleep.

Core Pages '09 was a very useful tutorial for me. I knew some of the basics, but going through the entire tutorial extended my knowledge. It also made me more appreciative of just how good an application Pages is for basic word processing.

This is the first tutorial I have seen for le 8. I think it is excellent.

just finish the exs24 tutorials all i can say is wow! to be honest i never use it for sampleing but now i can't stop useing it. all the mac pro video i own are like gold to me i can always go back to them. thx

Well this tutorial was really great, and Informative. I really learned alot, and was like I didn't realize you could do that in Logic. It really does teach you the toolkit of mastering thoroughly. My only complaint was the song "Wheels" was a little annoying after the second time, but you can't please everyone. Good Job steve, and MacProvideo, keep the great tutorials coming, and MACPROVIDEO's tutorials are really the best. This was the first one I actually watched from beginning to end.

This was a very informative video, although the instructor speaks a bit too slowly for our taste. Set playback to 1.5x and you're good to go! Anyway, thanks in part to this video, our band now uses MainStage at every gig.

Coming from ProTools, Logic looks like a jungle with all the knobs and drop-down menu's. And just one look at the 1.000 pages printed manual makes me want to go outside and mow the lawn instead. Not anymore with this tutorial. Up and running in no time, nicely paced and chaptered, with the perfect amount of detail - not to a subatomic level, not too superficial either. Excellent

I have only been able to watch the first few sections, and I love how detailed and simple it starts off. He's so clear with everything, it feels so easy to learn... so far! My one concern is that even though I've only watched about half of the sections of the 1st chapter, the subject matter seems to jump around in a way that seems a bit illogical, but perhaps that's because I don't know how it all ties in yet. I can give a more accurate review later.

Firstly, I'm still working through this tutorial so this review is very much a 'first impressions'. I am only writing it becasue these first impressions are often accurate. I'll get the bad news over first. This refers only to the sound examples I've heard (esp. sequencer and MIDI file lessons). Steve did it again! He's taking tutorials to the next level. In this tutorial you can undestand each step of mastering so clearly with lot of graphics and simple examples. Very informative tutorial. Really helped me understand and clarify Logics plugins. I recommend this to all Logic users wanting to refine their tracks to an even higher standard. Very good indeed.

Excellent review - worth every penny!

Very informative and useful,as are all the tutorials I've bought.My one criticism is the bias towards loops rather than freely played audio.I would like to see more on using elastic audio to correct freely played songs that are not played to a click, and how one could use elastic audio for tightening up performances.But overall very good!

As a beginner at home recording and new to GarageBand, I am glad I got this tutorial. Even though it is for GB-08, it is 100% applicable to GB-09. The basic interface looks different but the effects are identical. I am puzzled about why the Amp Simulation and Bass Amp features were left out of this tutorial since they were the only two items left on the Effects list. All in all, a great overview and a must have for the new user of GarageBand, especially at this price!!!

Found the tutorials very informative. I find that the short videos are easy to absorb, precise and to the point. Would highly reccomend.

This is an excellent video to learn how to use Garageband 09, and build a project, and what keyboard shortcuts you have available. It also explains well, how to use audio and midi files in Garageband, and is easy to understand.

I've made it about 80% of the way through Logic 101 and I'm totally blown away. You guys are fantastic. I was so impressed I pretty much bought everything else I wanted to know about a day or two later. I just wish I had discovered your videos earlier...I would have saved a lot of time and frustration.

I got a lot out of this one Martin. I have remastered at least 10 of my original songs using concepts presented and I must say they have come out with more punch.

On the whole, this is a very solid tutorial. It is decently long, and it covers many of the notoriously trickier parts of mixing. My only issue with the tutorial is that the project utilizes plugins that are not native to Logic, and in some cases are very expensive, professional grade plugins. It seems a little counter-intuitive to me to have a tutorial product using resources that may be well beyond those available to someone needing a tutorial. Hi,technically it's excellent but it would be superb if you were to give an example of producing a basic music track by using Simpler,operator,etc..This would be fun and very intuitive as at the moment I'm going backwards and forwards into ableton..It would make it sink in so much more if for ten-fifteen minutes one of you started to lay a track down from the beginning.obviously it doesn't need to be a club classic..your instructor on the tutorial is so knowledgeable but he sounds bored to death...

Overall good tutorial, just some unnecessary repetitions could be avoided. Importing from camera, isight and so on could have been one lesson with just the differences explained.

I've been using Illustrator since 1993 and knew the older program like the back of my hand, but the new items introduced since CS were a bit of a mystery because I never had the time to tinker and investigate them. I didn't think I would get much from the lessons but these tutorials have surprised me with new bells and whistles and easy ways to do old tasks that I couldn't possibly have figured out without someone showing me the hows and wheres. The lessons are very easy to follow!

I have been a user of GarageBand for over a year and thought I knew most of it. I bought the course, because it was on sale, but I didn't think I was going to learn much. To my surprise, I learned a lot! I learned many awesome tips that I had no idea existed. The instructor also takes you step by step on how to create loops more effectively with edits. The compositions are well made. You guys should change the course from Core to Complete!!! It was really good and comprehensive.

Awesome video's all i have purchased are great,i can go on and on,just fab. However guys this is where i'm at with logic. Martin i have one of your logic books and have viewed endless hours of tutorials online and just cant what i personally really need! What i have found is great on how to use logic,with 10 years paid dj work and my complete lack of musical skill i still cant make a proper structured house track(like Joey Youngman). Generally it's a good video aimed at beginners. One big let down is the absence of a lead vocal track, which is the most important thing in all most every genre. I was hoping for a video with some more tricks for the more experienced mixer, but maybe there's a volume 2 on the way ? :-) If you're just starting out mixing, this is a good video for you.

I briefly examined Logic 101, and so far I am impressed. For me it is easy to follow. Way better than the manual. And most important it saves me a lot of time. At age 76 I likely do not have AMPLE time to study 1053 pages of the instruction manual. Thankx guys. Good work.
