Tell me about your WaveBurner projects
Posted on Jan 21st 2008
Hey everyone,

Today I was thinking about you guys and asking myself: what kind of project are *you* working on that uses WaveBurner?
Archiving old cassette tapes or maybe even vinyl records and making a custom CD?
Transfer that first live concert of your band and turning it into a full length CD?
Reissuing an already mastered album with a different song order maybe?
Those are all things that WaveBurner can accomplish quickly—and Logic will usually be involved at some point also. You don't always need to do every step (especially all that ISRC, CD-Text stuff) when you're working on a personal project. It saves a bit of time. I still like to enter as much info as possible in the Mastering Notes window. That can come in handy a couple of years down the road when you need to refer back to a specific project

Let me know what you're up to, I'd love to read about it. I, for one, have *a lot* of cassette tapes lying around that desperately need to be digitized (they're from way, way back). It's one of those things you never seem to find time for, right? I like to think of that process as a load of laundry: you set it up, get it started, and go off and do other stuff while "the laundry gets done".

See you on the forums!

J.F.
