My lunch with Steve H.
All of a sudden, I’m digging layovers at airports a bit more than I used to. That’s because thanks to a well-timed layover in Las Vegas, I got a chance to meet Steve Horelick for the first time this past Sunday. I think the first thing I said to him—at the risk of sounding a bit too formal—was something like “It’s an honor to meet you.” Well, it was. We had just enough time to get away from the airport and have a little lunch and conversation. Steve is such a warm and engaging guy. I discovered him through his “Logic’s Plug-Ins: Unplugged” tutorial (or was it SOUND (and why it sounds that way)?). We got to talking about Logic (of course) and music in general. He came across as a simple guy with a genuine smile and an obvious passion for music and life.
