This would be fantastic... I would hope it would be already be on the cards?

I also think it would be great to do a 'masterclass' on Live 8 and really get into the innards of the program.

I would also like to see a more in depth tut for Live and it's instruments. A tutorial like Martin's Core Logic where a song gets made would be very awesome.

"Have you guys seen this?"

I am watching it right now... it's quite good. Will there ever be more advanced videos like the ones for Logic and Pro Tools?

Saw it, bought it, liked it.

He mentions "Live with Live." What's the ETA for that one. Sounds fun!

He is a great instructor for this material.

Yeah ... Bill's an amazing educator ...

Live with Live will be out before the end of August. I can't wait ... :)

We're putting a renewed focus on Live training. In the year ahead it's going to look a lot more like our Logic training for quality and content.

Thank you!

I'm just starting on this new tutorial and I really like the new instructor. It took me weeks of getting through the Live 6 tutorial because it kept putting me to sleep! I'm pumped to work through the new one. ;-)

That's great news! I think there are a lot of things to learn in Live. From Simpler to Sampler, and Operator. But also stuff like what DJ Gustavo Bravetti does. (Go check his Ableton Live demo videos on YouTube... pretty interesting stuff!)

What's "Live with Live"? On which video is that covered by Bill Burgess?

I know that what I am waiting for is definitely Max for Live. I am a programmer and I followed a short course on Max/MSP. So I am pretty exited about that.

Live with Live is an upcoming tutorial, its not yet released.

Re: MAX for live sounds super interesting, but from what I can tell its more about programming than making music. You get caught up in the details of the code and hours go be without any music being made.... Coming from a programming background, that is a big rabbit hole for me to fall through! I already have too many distractions in the form of plugins and hardware!

I like that DJ Gustavo! I really dig the whole "Controllerism" thing.

Where is this tutorial mentioned exactly? I can't find any trace of that? That should be interesting.

Cheers.

If you blink your ears you will miss it. Listen to the new Live 8 tutorial at lesson 96: "Follow Actions" at the 40 seconds mark for the reference to Live with Live.
