Maybe the wrong place to add this thread
Here is a question that has been bugging me !! Since Mac PPC machines are slowly but surely getting dropped , I am thinking of getting a new Mac Intel sometime by the end the year .
I understand that all these 8 core machines work great in maybe graphic video programs , but are softwares like Ableton live , Ni Komplete Logic and all these wonderful plug ins written to take full advantage of 8 core architecture ?
Am I maybe better off getting a simple quad machine with faster clock speed ?
What is the ultimate MAC Intel configurations
To be honest I do not mind spending the extra cash , but only if it is a justifiable move .
