For the time being the iPhone version at 2X is fine, but iPad support would really be welcomed please.

Are you subscribed to our newsletter? If so, you should have received one on the 7th May... We're currently rolling out full NEDweb support for the iPad by converting the 10,000 plus videos into iPad format.
As for NEDi, I can't comment on any particular info on this, but be sure we are working hard ;-)

Why has macprovideo, just totally dropped the ball on this one?
First, martin promises in my other post it will be a week (maybe sarcastically), and still no word.
Second, the N.E.D for iPhone sucks on iPad, as you can barely see the videos
Third, they made excuses of not having an iPad. Come on, screencastsonline (located in england) had one, and it wasn't released there.
Fourth, they have done nothing with NED WEB to make it usable to iPad Users.
I may sound pissed, I guess, because I am. I turn to macprovideo for my training needs, and they have dropped the ball on this horribly. Yes, horribly. Who else feels my pain? I'm going to have to evaluate other training sources, where they at least don't discriminate against iPad Users. This whole fiasco has been a nightmare.

I'm sorry you're finding this painful... but really it takes time to convert 10,000 videos to iPad format and support HTML5 properly.

I'm a first time poster but I've been a macProVideo user since Logic 7 and I just had to put my two cents in here. MacProVideo will come through. They always do. You just need to be patient.

These forums are a very open and friendly place where macProVideo customers and anyone in fact can have direct communication with MPV and with each other to provide feedback, help, advice and tips on all sorts of software related concerns. Please treat others here with respect. We can take constructive criticism... and are happy to get feedback from everyone... but there is a difference between requesting a feature for NED and from the tone and content of your deleted post.
- Advertising competitors products or services (aka Spam) is not on. Quite an obvious rule on most forums.
- HTML5 is the future for all Apple based browsers. Getting HTML5 compatible content for the iPad is important.
- We take feedback from customers very seriously and genuinely do our best to accommodate eveyone's needs. While this is not always possible, in this instance we've asked you to please be patient for a very short while longer as are atively working on an iPad solution. Developing solutions whether it be for NEDweb or NED or NEDi does takes time.
- btw, One million iPads (NOT 5 million) were sold in the first 28 days:

I believe about 10% may have been purchased unofficially by int. customers.

The iPad app is looking very sweet. We are very happy with how quickly it has come together. It should be submitted to Apple within 2 weeks.
FYI NEDweb is now iPad compatible. We still have around ~40% of our library to convert to H.264 and upload but most of our popular titles are working. Remember that download customers can stream their purchases through NEDweb on the iPad.
For the record, we do know what the iPhone SDK is. NEDi has been out for almost a year now and it wasn't written in VB =)
We all wish we could have been ready for the iPad release but we only have so much resources and we had other priorities which needed to be completed first.

I just bought an ipad (well it was a birthday/anniversary gift from my wife), and while I would love to see content on the device, I completely understand the depth of the work involved to convert that much content, and make sure it is all working properly (yes, even these automated conversion apps can mess up sometimes, so every video will require a review).
I think that to expect a company to be ready to go the minute a device, that was not supplied to a developer, is released is a little bit unrealistic, especially one with the huge amount of content like this one.
There is a solution: to give content owners access to streaming content while the main library is being converted. If you own a tutorial, at least having access to it in a higher quality version, would be a very nice thing... something to think about MPV.
I am looking forward to seeing my content in an ipad versions asap as well, but with wifi available in many places (even 24 hour fitness, where I'll be sitting for an hour on my bike every couple of days) I think offering complimentary streaming while the conversion process is being done would go a long way to satiate my desire to have a better quality image available for my ipad.

NEDi2: Although not designed for the iPad resolution NEDi2 for iPhone works surprisingly well on the iPad... sure it's not full resolution... but IMHO, it's not bad at all! NEDweb is better and I have to say Skye and JMar have done wonders with NEDweb for iPad - I love using it... still not 100% there for all the content to be converted... but we're very close!
