Would love to see a N.E.D. for iPad, or at least make the website iPad compatible. Subscriber here, would love to stream videos onto my iPad.

As soon as they come to Canada we'll be testing.

Do you have an iPad? Does NEDweb work in Safari on it?

In the meantime, NEDi should work on it though I'm not sure what the video quality will look like at 2x viewing.

NEDweb doesn't work. Can't scroll down to view more than the first several tutorials, and when I click on them, they show the play arrow with a slash through it, like how unviewable YouTube videos look on the iPhone.

I'll try NEDi; haven't used that on the iPhone, might give it a spin on the ipad.

Let us know how NEDi is on the iPad.

NEDi works well. Videos play and look ok but obviously not very high resolution. Definitely looking forward to seeing an iPad specific app, as a device it's perfect for this kind of application as you can view it side by side with your music computer, much easier to follow along.

Keep up the good work!

We're working on lots of great features right now... Unfortunately, it's not possible to do it all at once!

NEDi is usable, but the resolution is pretty bad. Words and symbols, knobs, etc., can be difficult to make out.

NEDi in native resolution on the iPad is what both iPad and NEDi were invented for. Please make this dream real.

Hi Wescravn,

We are working on iPad compatibility, but as we are located in Vancouver, Canada, we do not yet have access to a physical iPad device. The emulator can only emulate so much.

An iPad compatible player is definitely in the works.

Not to push you guys or anything -- you guys make excellent tutorials -- but Vancouver isn't too far away from Washington. It shouldn't be too difficult to get an iPad? I'm sure you guys are Apple fans like the rest of us... and this is "MACprovideo" =)

We're much too busy building even better video players, improving our website, and producing excellent content, to go on road trips for iPads :)

jmar, i'm sure you are, but again that's why developers had access to iPad SDK for months, and a real iPad could be purchased over the internet. I'm sure MPV has money to-do that, and you wouldn't have to leave vancouver.

iPad compatibility is coming soon. Just have a little more patience and you'll be learning from your couch in no time!

In the last month 0.47% of our traffic has come from the iPad ... 70% of our customers are outside of the US which means the vast majority of our customers don't even have access to the devices yet.

Just FYI it's a massive investment in infrastructure and programming to convert our over 10,000 videos in 160+ tutorials into iPad format to satisfy less than a half a percent of our customers ... but we are doing so.

Should have it rolled out by the end of next week ...

Martin
