I purchased the Live6 101 tutorial.
I downloaded Live6 (demo, not yet purchased).

The tutorial shows how to configure audio track in/outs, just above the Send dials. But when I bring up Live6, there are no audio in/outs on the audio tracks. My Preferences appear to be OK (MME driver, M-Audio FW Audiophile interface).

Any idea why I am not seeing the audio in/outs on the audio tracks in Live6 ?

Hi - to see the audio or MIDI in/outs for your Live tracks, choose "In/Out" from the "View" menu. You can then use the Input Type and Output Type boxes to choose from your particular hardware options. Hope that clears it up!
