midi downloads

i just got your product today and purchased the lessons. i've been downloading midi files from the net and playing them with a downloaded midi player called VanBasco. pretty decent, but very amature. i want to be able to take some of these songs and rebuild them. i've watched several of the lessons but they're all geared toward someone with more knowledge of this software than i have. is there anywhere that i can view lessons designed for begginers? thanks,

Welcome to the forums!

It's all about the Browser area on the left. Find the MIDI file and double click it to load it into a track.
