Live 7

Are you putting out new tutorial for live 7?

Yes ... it should be available in January.

If I buy the Live 6 tutorial now, will I be able to get 7 for free? Or should I just wait for 7 to come out?

Looking forward to Live 7 in January. Here's what I'd like to see:

1> go deep into new features - drum racks and the new instruments

2> deeper focus on:
a> each audio and midi effect
b> each instrument

3> using Live to Compose

4> using Live to Perform Live

There's lots of basic Live training around - these features would differentiate. You should hire Johnathan Margulies to do it! His Live 5 training vid was awesome - the best I've seen so far on Live!

We, the contributors to this thread, certainly don't mean to be annoying. However, our hunger for a Live 7 tutorial is getting intense, and we all know (and love) to turn to MacProVideo.com for our software educational needs.

So, do you by chance have any updates on the progress of the Live 7 tutorial (as it was originally slated for a January '08 release date)?

I'm especially curious to know who'll be leading this one. Will it be Martin Delaney from the Live 6 tutorials, or will Mr. Sitter be the man behind the Mac?

I am a little concerned here? Live 7 was supposed to be in January and your sent out info that updates would be allowed based on the ime Live 6 Tutorial was bought and the impending release of Live 7 and still no 7, when I bought this tutorial, I did so with the understanding that I would soon be allowed to download the Live 7 Tutorials as they came available (IN JANUARY?????) now it is Mid April and nothing, when I bought the Live 6 Tutorial, I already had Live 7 and thought it would be right around the corner and that has not been the case at all.

I am more than a little disappointed here! Please respond and let us know what the deal is! I love MPV, but I must say this is testing my patience and really making me consider going elsewhere!
