I've been watching JFB's GarageBand 09 101 tutorial. In Part One, Section One, Tutorial 9 ("The Browse Tab"), about a minute into the video, JFB clicks on the
menu for the Browse tab in the info pane and shows that he has all the Jam Packs installed. My problem is that even though I have all the Jam Packs installed they don't show up in the drop-down menu under the Browse tab. All the software instruments in the various Jam Packs are present in the categories that appear under the drop-down menu ("Bass," "Choir," and so on). But I can't filter them because the individual Jam Packs don't appear in the drop-down menu. I see from the Apple forums that other people have this same problem with GarageBand 09 but as yet there are no solutions posted on the Apple forums. By the way, refreshing the loops browser by dropping the various Jam Pack folders on top of it doesn't help. Any ideas from JFB or anybody else?
