Full Band Recording w/ iRig on Garage Band for ipad

I have been recording through garageband using the iRig and turning the monitor on in for it's respective track, but I was wondering if it would be possible to maybe run it through some type of interface into the iRig and record multiple tracks? The purpose of this is to record a full band at once and still being able to achieve maximum sound quality while tracking each instrument separately.

However, GarageBand for iPad (currently) does NOT allow for simultaneous recording on multiple tracks... That might change in the future... perhaps with iPad 3...
