March 2008 TNT UB Random voice mute question

Hi Steve,

I am a new subscriber to the Logic bundle of tutorials on MPV, so please forgive me for asking you a question about such an old tutorial. My question is as follows: when using the random voice mute on UB via an arpeggiator is it possible to record the midi data coming out from the arpeggiator so that it can be sent to UB from a midi track and edited further to make use of the patterns that emerge from this type of data manipulation that seem to be the most sonically pleasing in context of the track being worked on?

Welcome to the forums!

I'm not near Logic right now... but in theory you can create a track from any of the objects in the Environment and then record the changes there manually... is that what you're looking to do?

Can you remind me which tutorial and video you've been following?
