OS 10.5.3 update released...

Just thought I'd mention this in specific regard to fellow Logicians as, despite not having downloaded it myself just yet, a couple of other Logic users have reported the "overload messages" they used to experience frequently in certain projects are no longer or considerably less during playback.

Also, early reports are that Logic 8.0.2 seems to be running quicker...

This is a very early first impression so should you update, do backup your system first!

I updated and found that Airport no longer recognized my Airport card. Downloaded the standalone installer from Apple, reinstalled, messed with "Airport Utility" and "Network Preferences" for a bit and it's back working again.

No idea what the issue was.

Just a note to let you know that I did the update and everything is running great!

Hi,

I've download and installed the 10.5.3 combo update,
and it is a major boost. Made a test on my Powerbook G4 1.5 2 Gb ram and was able to mix 24 Audio and instrument tracks with plug-ins with cpu peaks at 50 to 60%.
Pior to that upgrade 1 Sculpture hit the roof on cpu!
