Hi.

Overview tutorials are valuable but for a suite like Komplete they can only scratch the surface. I'm thinking, in particular, of Kontakt and Reaktor.

They are both complex products that are a little hard to get into on the supplied documentation. The NI user forums (and libraries) are a mine of experience but it takes a lot of time to explore them.

I'd love to see an in-depth tutorial on both going into creating instruments and ensembles and, on the Reaktor side, firming up what the basic tutorials can teach you and going beyond into what's possible.

I've dabbled with both and never feel like I'm getting the best of them. I would consider a great, in-depth, tutorial as a good investment.

Regards,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Welcome to the forums :)

Thanks for the suggestion. Please feel free to also post it in the "Suggested Training" sub forum:
http://www.macprovideo.com/forum/general/suggested-training

It will have much better exposure there :)

Thanks!

I agree, i personally would buy a Kontakt 3 tutorial right away if it were a slightly advanced tutorial, not just scratching the surface.

regards,

Ditto.

I get the feeling I could be getting a lot more from Kontakt 3/3.5.

An in-depth tutorial of the usual macprovideo standard would be great.

There's a lot of new Komplete 5 owners out there that would probably go for it as well.

I'm in agreement about Kontakt 3.5

I can figure out a great deal - but as always, it's so much faster if there is a well made tutorial to follow, and this seems like an area that just hasn't been covered that much by others.

Count me in!

Hi all again.
I know it's been said before - but I've just bought LA scoring strings...

Great library but it uses a kontakt interface.

I've just also bought "the trumpet and mr Sax" from Sample Modelling - best brass individual sounds I've ever heard... kontakt interface.

I've just shelled out £1700 for "Broadway Big Band" - which has just changed over to Kontakt in the last few days.

The only thing i can't find is a sensible tutorial anywhere by any company on the ins and outs of Kontakt. Guys - you are the obvious company to make this and there's a clear need for it.

What do you say?

i too am looking for a Kontakt 4 tuto, and cannot find any ... i would need an in depth one to create my own libraries with my own sample ...
