using kontakt in maschine

hi all new to the site great to learn so much alot to take it. sooo a quick question how do you cut of one kontakt to another e.g i have one instance of kontakt with one sample on pad 1 and on pad two i have another instance of kontakt so when i press pad 2 i want pad 1 to cut off?

Use the choke feature.
