I was watching the Beat Detective tutorial and saw that on all the videos the audio is slightly out of sync from the video.
I thought I would report that.
Great tutorial otherwise ;)

Hi Spots,

I've just been previewing video 04. Samples and Ticks... and it all looks and sounds in sync to me...

Is there a particular video where you found it noticeable?

Thanks
Rounik

Hi Rounik,

From video #20 you can clearly see it... very obvious in video #24 also... as well as in many other further videos.

Hi Spots,

Thanks. I see what you mean. The sys audio of Pro Tools is slightly ahead of the playback of the waveform.

There can sometimes be a slight lag when screen capturing, recording system audio and voice over. I'll ask to see if there's anything that can be done at this stage - but IMHO it doesn't detract from the tutorial... How do you feel about it?

Thanks
Rounik

It's really not much of a big deal, I thought I'd report the matter for future videos as it's always better to have perfect sync when addressing groove timing and quantization topics for instance.

Thanks.

Thanks again for the feedback :)

We'll take a look at it this week.

Best
