Hi there!
I'd like, or I'd wish?, that Mr. Bill Burgess could answer to this... just because it's his fault if I've this doubt now! :)
(it happens watching his Double Cecking Video Frame Rate's tutorial into PT8 203)
Just kidding! ...I hope someone can help me on this...
If I've got a video at 23.98 fps... in PT have I to use 23.976 fps...? (there's no trace of 23.98 in PT! ...actually neither in LogicPro9, where I've already started the project...)

Is there a (bad)chance that could be out of sync when they will add my music (written using 23.976fps) to the movie (in 23.98fps)?

Sorry if it is a "dummies" question (and for my so-so english)...

Cheers!

Hey Rino!

Agh! Frame rates... Well, my understanding is 23.98 is an abbreviation of 23.976 (at least this is the case in Final Cut).

Whether Logic uses the same abbreviation as FCP or not...

I dunno why more people don't just shoot in 24 fps. It would save a lot of head scratching ;-)

Hope this helps!
Rounik

p.s. actually I'm beginning to doubt my answer now... and unfortunately with NAMM starting, getting hold of those more versed in scoring in Logic is gonna be tough... Give me a little time - I'll see what I can find out :)

Thanks a lot Rounik for your interest!

...I'm looking too... and, in the meantime I hope to find something more... (not very easy indeed... Is it a secret? Uh?!?)

Cheers! :)
