Saving I/O settings in Pro Tools

Hi,

How does one save the I/O settings in Pro Tools 9 so that anytime a new session is begun, the same inputs will be available in the channel strip? I can't imagine that one has to re-set the I/O assignments every time one starts a new session. Thanks, SG.

Yes you are able to save your in/out settings with your session there is box that you can check that says session overwrite current i/o setup when opened. When checked it will keep settings you designated when unchecked it will keep default settings.
