Drum Programming With KONG and ReDrum

I feel like this is a really silly question, and that I just missed something in one of the Reason tutorials, but I can't figure this out.

After watching the KONG tutorials, and hearing about routing it through a ReDrum to step sequence KONG, I got really excited. I routed the devices, programmed my patterns...

And, when I hit record... nothing gets recorded.

What am I doing wrong?!

Right click on Redrum and select copy pattern to track
