Is there a way to import different versions of the same song - multiple times - with the same start point - and somehow keep all the STP "edits" (such as compression, EQ, fades, etc) -- in order to make it easy to import new versions of the same song - and have them each be mastered exactly the same in STP ? (Not sure if this is clear?)

Importing different audio files into the same .stap project file? Any better?

I messed around a bit and couldnt figure a way to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi DuVine,

Welcome to the forums!

In STP2 create a New > Multi track project.

Instead of placing effects on to the audio file by using the process menu or onto the Track itself, choose the "Master" track and place the effects onto that track (using the Effects tab in the left pane).

Now you can bring in multiple audio files on to separate tracks and have them "mastered exactly the same".

You can mute or solo each track by choosing:
Mutitrack > create submix and muting or soloing the submixes.
