Mono is STP2

When I have a timeline full of Mono tracks, I can't seem batch export them in true mono. Depending on my settings, I get one of two things.

1. After exporting, mono tracks becomes stereo in STP2 after dragging them into the timeline from the finder or browser.

2. My export gives me a L and R mono tracks, but not one true mono track.

Anyone have any ideas? I just need to be able to export my tracks as single mono files that will always be mono in STP2.

I just tried it out by doing the following:

File > Export...

I clicked on the "Create Multiple mono files"

and when i reinserted them into STP they were mono.

Is that what you're doing?
