Hello everybody
Can anybody help? I have:
Project "A" with a blue folder "AA".

I want to MOVE those picts from that folder "AA" to another Project named "B".
I can drag & drop this folder "AA" onto the new Project "B", but when I click on Project "B", no pictures are shown there; I only see those pictures by clicking on folder "AA" with the new Project "B".

When I'm clicking on Project "A", the pictures still are there). But HOW can I *move* them from Project "A" away to Project "B" (and in new folder within Project "B". Or isn't this possible?
Thanks for your help.
Tom

Hi Tom,

Your post baffles me a bit, as it's physically impossible to have loose images actually stored inside a folder in Aperture. Folders can either be used at the Library level to organize projects or within projects to organize different kinds of albums. So at what level is your folder at and when you open it's disclosure triangle what do you see (projects or albums)? When you click on a folder at either of those levels it will show you the contents of every album or project in one giant grouping, making it appear as though your loose images are inside your folder as well as inside your projects or albums when you click on any of those. But they're not, projects are the only containers that can contain your master images (referenced or managed) and albums only contain versions of those masters (virtual copies). So if you want to move master images around you need do so from inside project containers. Open project A, select the images you would like to move to project B (all or some) and simply click and drag them onto project B.

Hi Alex
Thanks for your respond. I realize what I did wrong: I dragged & dropped the folder to another project. But I have to select all pictures manually I want to move by clicking on the "Project" and drag it to the other "Project" as you wrote above.
Then I also moved the folder and the "Book" I made to the new Project. Now everything is ok!
I thought I can move only the folder, but since the original is stored in the project, it won't move along (it's logical).
Thanks for your help (I'm just in progress to watch your excellent video training of Aperture 2).
