Help with help tags

Can anyone tell me if there is a way of turning on help tags when hovering the mouse over the interface. I'm relatively new to Aperture & this would help a lot if it were possible. Sometimes the icons on the buttons aren't always intuitive and obvious. The only way at the moment to find out what they do is to click them.

Aperture > Preferences > Appearance > Click "Show tooltips on controls"
