I've never made a website before but with dreamweaver in my CS suite so I might try. I need to make a prtfolio site for my graphics work. i've watched some of the videos in the dreamweaver section and it looks interesting.

I'm not a very technical guy though and all that code crap is a bit scary. Can anyone provide advice on if I should learn dreamweaver? or just use a canned portfolio site from the web?

I made my site with iWeb - dead easy. But want to have flash on my web site. My mate is a graphic designer he swears by dreamweaver and he ain't a coder! He got the dreamweaver videos here and i was shocked he was making real nice style web pages so quick.

I got the subscription today. The photoshop videos are the best! Now I think when i got threw photoshop i can make websites in dreamweaver.

Peace

Yeah, I totally dug the photoshop tutorialz too ... :)

I may be a little oldskool, but I'm getting into the dreamweaver tutorialz. It seems a bit complicated but I'm learning a lot about the web. Maybe i need to watch them a couple of timez to let it all sink in ... I'm glad I can do that online.

Actually, i always used books before and I have to say these videoz are really cool ... I wish we had these 10 yearz ago!

yeah m8. they should make all classes with video tutorials no more books!

I found good tips for photoshop on this forum. The words are still good, but videos are faster.

It like having a mate who knows everything showing you all tricks that take years to learn.

I want to watch em on my iphone thogh.

Peace

I have created a few websites with Dreamweaver, I just love it. I do know some basic coding which helps in Dreamweaver, coding isn't as scary as it looks either, give it a try.
