I am on my work PC, running Adobe CS2 with Windows.

Has anyone ever seen this error message come up...

"Save As command will not work due to a program error"

No explanation, and it won't let me re-open a file right after I save it...it looks like it's saved as usual, but when I try to open with photoshop, an error reads

"Not the correct document type" (or something similar)...

This is obviously not acceptable when there is work to be done...please help.

Thanks in advance!

Hi Blake,

Sounds like many people suffered similar issues using Photoshop 9.0.2 CS2.

Here are a couple of things to try:

http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.ef4a07f/1

One user found that by changinig the dfault printer to a ..different printer it resolved the issue!

Other users found it better to reintall CS2 and update to 9.0.1 (NOT 9.0.2)

Here's another solution, but i think it may be Mac only:

Infact, I've just found a knowledge base article on the Adobe website which addresses this:
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=329104&sliceId=1

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers
