Is there an illustrator forum?

I need to create graphics for flash ... is illustrator the tool for that?

Is there an illustrator forum here or what? Isn't that the tool for making things for flash?

Flash has vector drawing tools built into it. Starting with Flash CS3 you can import Photoshop and Illustrator files.
