I am just a newbie here, but I wanted others to know about my recent experience with MPV and one person in particular.
I downloaded NED on 12/30/07 and started to check out the demo on Final Cut Pro. When I started to download, I was getting 18 chapters. I was only expecting 1. I didn't like this too much. I am suddenly getting far more than I expected and I didn't know why.
So I tried dragging NED to the trash and I could not delete the program. This really bugged me. Now I am thinking that I have installed something invasive and bad.
I sent an e-mail to Support asking for uninstall instructions.
Apparently Gosia's luck was not holding that day and he was tasked with replying to me.
The normal course of events is to tell someone to just stop the program and drag it to the trash. ( remember, WINDOWS user!)
But he also asked me WHY I wanted to delete NED.
Gosia took the time to explain to me what NED is all about in a considerate and friendly way. My fears were completely put to rest.
I realize that I am dumb as a brick on Mac, but I know excellent customer service when I trip over it.
Gosia deserves 2 attaboys and a pat on the back and I just wanted him (or her) to know that I appreciate the service.
