MOTU CUEMIX

Hi! Recently got a Ultralite Mk3. Works as aspected so far but there´s some questions about the quemix software.

WHY is volume MAX when monitor button isn´t engaged? I have my Genelec 1029 directly to MAIN LR out and the Ultralite delivers very high output. I´ve read about these issues on other forums but noone really has an answer to it?

Can I control playback from Logic? I had the Apogee Duet previous and in the Maestro I had one fader for playback and one fader for monitor. If I want to use zerolatency monitoring I now need to adjust playback on Logics masterfader and then increase or decrease headphones on front of Ultralite. Annoying, I want to control levels/balance from the Cuemix. Is it possible?

I don't use MOTU Cuemix (or an Ultralite) in my personal setup...
