Furman P-1800 Power conditioner

I am thinking of purchasing the Furman p-1800 AR surge protector/power conditioner. It's rather expensive, but does what I need it to do. Can someone give me a few thoughts regarding that unit or perhaps an alternative? Thanks so much! SG.

I'm not familiar with this particular model or make... As I'm based in the UK I wouldn't be able to offer any advice on US surge protectors... The ones I use in the UK are between 20 GBP and 45 GBP... and work great.
