Proper method's of "burning in" new headphones?

Hey everyone, I am looking for a little advice on how to burn in my new AKG 702's. Does the the type of music or noise used have any effect what so ever on how they will eventually sound? I have read articles of some using pink noise, white noise, and/or just letting a music playlist run through for like 8 hours a day.
Also when you are doing this, what would be a good level to use?
Any suggestions on this would be helpful as this is the first pair of cans I have purchased that seem to require this to get the best sound out of them.

I'm not an expert on headphones and burning them in but it seems the consensus is that you should give them 300hrs. So maybe running them 10 hours a day for 30 days should work.

You can run any music through them. After this the audio response on the headphones will be much better.
