Hey gang...somewhat of a newbie here. At the moment I see NONE of the tutorials I have purchased over the past year or two..including the one I purchased this morning. I am on a new Mac Book Pro which is different than the one I started my account on. Should that matter? I cannot see or get to any of the stuff I have purchased and it's maddening!
I dont know if it helps to mention that NED wanted my 'keychain' password. I havent the foggiest what that is..I tried every password I have ever used and it didnt work...whats up with that?..and could that be 'the problem'?...Heeeeeelllp!

Hi & welcome to the forums!

It's important that you enter the same user name and password into NED that you used to purchase your tutorials with.

When NED asks for Keychain access this enables NED to access and download your tutorials from macProVideo. Please allow this process.

You can install and use NED on at least up to 3 different machines, so it doesn't make a difference using another Mac.

So, let's back track a little first.

1. What DO you see when you open NED?

2. Is your username and password accepted?

3. Do any of your purchased tutorials appear in the Library (on the left)?

4. Have you definitely signed in to NED using the Same user name (in lowercase) and password you used when purchasing the tutorials?

5. What version of NED are you using?

6. What version of OSX?

Please do let me know the answers to the above and if I'll do my best to help you here. If I'm unable to I will direct you to our Support team where they can directly look inside your account.

Thanks
Rounik

p.s. The other possible issue could be this:

Thanks mate for your help. Below are the reponses to your questions:

1. What DO you see when you open NED?

I see the sign in window. The when my sign is is accepted I see the request for the 'keychain' password...which as you indicate is important AND which may be the problem...as none of my passwords are accepted there. I did dig further into that and got nowhere!

2. Is your username and password accepted?

Yes..as it is to send and receive these forum posts

3. Do any of your purchased tutorials appear in the Library (on the left)?

NO..none of them!

4. Have you definitely signed in to NED using the Same user name (in lowercase) and password you used when purchasing the tutorials?

Yes...is it not the same user name (in lowercase) and password that I must use to be here posting in the forum?

5. What version of NED are you using?

3.3

6. What version of OSX?

10.5.8

cheers!...Jeff

Hi Jeff,

No problem!

When NED or any application asks to access your key chain it requires you to use your Macs User account password (the password you use for your Mac account).

Hopefully this is/was the issue.

I asked about the username and password as sometimes a user may type in the same username but with some capitalisations which won't work. Other times some have mistakenly created two or more different accounts and purchased tutorials on one and used the other to log in to NED.

Do let me know how get on & thanks for providing all the info!

:)

Hey JF

This is odd. Your login keychain has the same password as your Mac OS X user account.

I can only suggest resetting your User account password...

Alternatively, can you upload a screenshot of the Keychain message or describe it exactly.

Thanks
