Since today all of my downloaded tutorials are locked and in the "Downloads & Admin" section there's no tutorial listed anymore. What happened? Does anybody else have this problem, too?

I think it`s a bug in N.E.D. version 3.2.2 (Mac).

Hopefully I am fine with with my saved versions 1.1.1 and 3.0 .

Can somebody provide version 3.2.1 for me please?

Thanks

N.E.D. 3.2.2 is not contacting the server after starting the program.

Hi Resu,

Can you double-check that you entered the correct username and password in NED 3.2.2. Is it the same username and password that you used when purchasing your tutorials?

I would suggest deleting the NED preferences file.

1. Quit NED

2. Delete the following file (or move it to the Desktop):
Your User / Library / Preferences / com.nonlineareducating.NED3.plist

3. Restart NED. Go to Downloads & Admin and log in.

You should see all your tutorials in your library now.

Let me know how you get on.

Cheers
Rounik

I tried all of that already and I am 100% sure that this is a bug of version 3.2.2 .

Hi Resu,

That's very strange. I've not come across this bug with NED 3.2.2.

Is NED 2 working ok for you?

Could you drop a line to Support. They'll be able to help you troubelshoot it. Please let them know all your system details (OSX version, Quicktime version, etc):

Version 1.1.1 and version 3.0 are working well here.

Version 3.2.1 used to work well, too.

Hi, I have the same problem like you. Yesterday after a short interruption of my internet access all my downloaded tutorials disappeared from the Downloads & Admin Area and were not seen again ... . Unfortunately nothing helped until now. No idea what's up?

Philou, did it start after you have purchased a new tutorial?

Christian Labbe, a guy from the Support Team, sent me a link for downloading NED 2. I installed this old version and all my tutorials appeared and work again smoothly. Resu suggests that Version 3 should also work but I didn't try it. I'm waiting for the OK from the Support Team to reinstall the fixed latest Version.

I'm experiencing the exact same problem. All of them are locked and NONE of them are listed in the "Downloads & Admin" window so it is not possible to enable any of them.

I've deleted the preference file, logged out, logged back in... Nothing helps.

I've submitted a report but haven't heard back yet.

Funny thing is that I'm sure I had older versions of NED, which I renamed with different extensions, but those are all gone now. Not sure if the updater to 3.2.2 deleted them.

Philou, did it start after you have purchased a new tutorial?

Well, I must say, yes! I have purchased Mainstage 2 and I never could download it. after that, I have observed that I was not authorised anymore to vieuw my purchased tutorials anymore.
Even after deleting the preferences file for that Preference Folder.
Where could I find the just previous version of NED 3?

Good question Philippe. But remember, NED 3.2.2 also worked well until it crashed ... . We don't know the trigger of this syndrome. A purchase? Me too purchased new tutorials before the crash of NED 3.2.2. But as these brandnew tutorials haven't been ready for downloading I didn't related it with the crash. But who knows?
I'm gonna use NED 2 as long as NED 3.2.2 is fixed and will work without any problems ;-)

Thank you Hans.

So, I had no choice than to download the older version.

Only with this older version (NED 2), I could finally download the tutorials that I last purchased.
And I can again use my other tutorials.

I will wait for the next version update...
