Will Ned go Bush?

I'm about to head bush for a while and leave my G5 behind, I'd like to take NED and my tutorials for some leasurely study on my old G4 OSX 10.2.8. Can you advise the best way to 'port' the prg. and tuts to the other older computer?

The best way for now is to copy them to a disc and move them over ... put them in the Documents > NED folder on the other computer.

You will need to temporarily connect that other computer to the internet and enter your account info, so NED knows it can play the tutorials, but that takes just a second.

FYI, we are working on a cool new backup and archive feature to make this even easier!!

My computer in the bush dosn't have any access to the internet (too remote). Will the new backup & archive feature overcome the need to connect to internet?

For now, you can use the "Switch To Vintage" option on the tutorial ... you will need to visit your user account on the website, go to the My Tutorials page, and click the "Switch To Vintage" link ... then download the tutorial file through your web browser ... Phew!

It's a little more work than using the NED download, but you will be able to watch the tutorials in the bush ...
