N.E.D. keeps downloading deleted tutorials

My 'N.E.D. for Mac' keeps downloading tutorials I've deleted (and also left unticked in the middle 'Tutorial' pane) and I can't find a way to stop it.

For example I've got a middle pane with all tutorials unticked, and I just tick the one for 'Core Numbers '09' - NED immediately begins downloading a pile of tutorials including ones, mostly 'Demos', that I've recently 'Deleted' using the left pane.

Can you help please?

BTW I did eventually get 'Numbers' to download by deleting all the active downloads until I found 'Numbers' and moving it to the top of the queue. I then cancelled to other downloading tutorials.

Hi pipkato,

That sounds odd. Have you tried deleting the NED preferences and signing in again (in NED)?

If that doesn't work, I'd recommend you write a ticket to our Support Team who'll be able to help you:

Thanks

Thanks Rounik.

I havent' tried that - how do I do it?

I've been having this problem for ages, but presumed I just hadn't got the hang of NED for downloading.

OK. Do you have the latest version of NED?

http://www.macprovideo.com/about/

To delete NED's preferences:

1. Quit NED and go to:
HD/Users/*Your Home Folder*/Library/Preferences/

find this file:
com.nonlineareducating.NED3.plist

move it to your Desktop (or place in your trash.

Now relaunch NED and log-in.

Thanks again Rounik.

I have the latest version, so I'll try what you suggest.

Let's hope it works.

Just tried that suggestion.

NED is still downloading multiple files that I've already deleted - e.g. Demo files.

Did you contact our Support team?

They're available Mon-Fri - but will do their very best to look into your account and see why this is happening.
