Just migrated data from iMac Snow Leopard to new iMac Lion.
None of my tutorials will play. In fact they crash when I click on them!!

I saw that N.E.D. needs Quicktime 7 to work properly. Lion doesn't support Quicktime 7, believe it or not. Might that be the problem?

Will I have to download macpro again? And if so will all my tutorials load too, or will I have to download them again. Obviously I won't have to purchase them again!

Hey all. You're having the problem above, here's an answer from Christian that worked!!

I'm sorry for this issue. Please do the following :

1. Make sure NED is closed.

2. In the Finder menu, click on Go >Â Go to Folder...

3. Type "~/library/preferences" without quotes and hit "Go"

4. Find the com.nonlineareducating.NED3.plist and the NED_Player.plist and delete them both. (Don't worry if you don' t find the NED_Player.plist file but it's important to delete it if you find it.)

5. Re-open NED and now attempt to login again.

6. If you changed the Download Folder location, you'll have to do that again under NED > Preferences.

7. Click on "Downloads & Admin", press the "Download" button, make sure that all tutorials are enabled and hit "Download" again.

If it still doesn't work, I suggest you quit NED and try to remove all .prgm from ~/documents/NED in the Finder.

(~ is you home folder)

Then try to re-download a few tutorials to see if it helps.

If you are unable to download the tutorials, make sure you only use letters and numbers in your password. This will fix the issue.

Please let me know if you need more assistance.
