Hi,

It seems the built-in Burn function of NED will only burn one tutorial at a time. The tutorials I have purchased actually can all fit on one DVD, but it doesn't seem that NED will allow me to do this.

If I just burn the packages from my NED directory on disk directly to a DVD using toast or something similar, would NED be able to play these tuturials from that DVD directly?

I'm just looking optimize my DVD usage.

Hi Darth,

Yeah, it is 1 at a time now ... darn. We will fix that issue in the next round of development.

You can burn the downloaded tutorials to your own DVD, I think clicking the ADD button should add them back to NED for playback, though I have not tried that myself yet.

Regardless, you can drag them off the disc and back onto your computer to replay them.

THanks for the reply.

I will try burning the tutorials directly from the NED directory then.

I'll be looking forward to that multi-tutorial burn feature when it gets added to NED.

I have burned the NED folder from my Documents folder (Mac OS X) to a DVD disk from the Mac Pro I use at work. I have brought the DVD disk home and mounted it on my PowerBook to watch the training at home. I have, so far, only downloaded some of the DEMO content.

However, I am unable to get NED to recognise the material on the DVD disk. I have even copied the DVD disk content to the hard disk on my PowerBook to replicate the folder structure on the Mac Pro, yet I'm still unable to get NED to recognise this content.

I'm connected to the internet, and logged in to to the MacProVideo site (I assume) through both NED and a browser using the same credentials - all to no avail.

Is this a "feature", or am I doing something wrong?

I have had the same troubles with relocating and transfers (I wanted to study while on holidays away from web).
you may wish to try this...

Close NED
1. Go to: User account > Library > Preference
2. Delete NED_Player.plist
3. Open NED > Tutorials > ADD (now navigate to your tutorials)

Even if this fails, NED will rebuild the Deleted file each time it opens.

This DVD X 1Tutorial, burn feature is a real STUFF-UP ...got a spare 12 discs?

tell me how you go :)
