Can't play previously downloaded tutorials

I'm not understanding something very basic about NED.

I can download and immediately play tutorials after downloading, but if I then download another tutorial, the previous ones disappear from the tutorial window, and are then unavailable for playing.

Selecting the Add button brings up an error dialog "The selected tutorial is either invalid or it already exists. Please contact macProVideo.com's support department and detail the exact steps that led to this error."

I see them in the download directory, but trying to open them from there only launches NED and does not play the tutorial.

Surely I don't have to download them each time I watch them? What am I missing here?

Thanks for any help!

I am seeing the same problem. My FCP6101 tutorials will no longer play. I tried deleting them from the folder to see if it would redownload to no avail. Now I don't have this tutorial anymore.

What do I need to do to get this back?

I have solved my problem by making sure the download status for all tutorials is ON.

Apparently, when the status is OFF and you download a new tutorial, the previously downloaded ones are no longer shown and will not play, even if started directly from your hard drive.

I guess that begs the question, why would you ever want to turn your status OFF for any tutorials, unless you don't care about playing them?

Anyway, the problem was my own misperception of the purpose of the download status buttons, and now that I understand that, I have no problem playing older tutorials from within NED.

Thanks for your reply atimbral.

Where do you set this option? My other tutorials seem fine and I don't see where to set this option.

Actually, I found the option and saw that the tutorial download was set to on. Not sure what's going on..
