How can I get NED to recognize the location of the tutorial

I copied a tutorial to a CD and can no longer access the tutorial from NED without putting the CD in the drive. When I copied the tutorial to the CD, I had a choice of making a back-up copy or another type of copy and I think I chose the other type of copy.

The tutorial is also in the NED folder on my hard drive and I can play it by double-clicking on it.

How can I get NED to link to the tutorial on my hard drive rather than the copy on the CD.

I am having this problem as well... I wanted to view the tutorial away from my mac (on vacation), but now I am back and want it to reside on my hard drive.

I have tried Move and also Delete (in an attempt to re-download), but NED seems to demand that I put in my DVD.

Try this:
Make sure the tutorial you burned onto CD/DVD is still in your Tutorial Folder on your hard drive. Go into your Preferences Folder and delete the file NED_Player.plist.
Open N.E.D. and click on "Add your Tutorials". N.E.D. should automatically rebuild your original tutorial list and you should be able to play the tutorial from the hard drive. Hope that helps, - it worked for me.

Thanks Bruno B. It worked. This should be a FAQ.
