N.E.D. v1.0 will not play tutorial

i've got reason 101 cd. just downloaded N.E.D. v1.0, I added the cd in the tutorial manager, the manager showed an icon with info about the tutirial, but when i click on Open Tutorial i get this error:

Anybody here? I've sent a message by th e support form last thursday for exactly the same problem. I'm not very happy to buy tutorials that I can't play!

Could you please help us? Maybe we could use an older version of N.E.D. or, if you prefer, give the right to download again the tutorials so I could put them on my Mac if N.E.D. is working better with Mac...

If you still can't seem to download through N.E.D. for Windows, please go to your "My Tutorials" area, and turn your downloads into "Vintage" downloads. This allows you to download the Tutorials as full .zip files through your web-browser, then you should be able to play that finished file with the new N.E.D.

Have any of the previous versions of N.E.D. worked on your system?

I get this same problem running Vista. I have also had issues playing the videos...they will just randomly bomb. I have the latest version of NED. I emailed you guys about this a week ago and never heard back. If you cannot resolve this Vista issue how do we go about getting a refund?? It does not make sense for me to have to pay for something which you state works with Vista and then have it not.

Remove all previous versions of Microsoft DOT Net Framework.

Then reinstall it. The download is here:

That "should" mean that your .NET framework and mine are exactly the same.

did work for me... gutted, really wanted to watch my download only video too.

I've had the same problem with the latest ned. It didn't recoginse the versions of the logic tuts I have. [ver ?] I have a beta version of ned and that one will play the tuts I have [logic 101, 102, 105] fine. I also found that they have to be on the desktop na dnot in folders. ned seems to have a few quirks regarding paths and directories. Is it possible that the latest ver won't recognise older issued tuts from macpro? ie an incompatibility problem with the new ned? I've emailed tech support just now asnd asked them If I find out anything, or I resolve the bugs I'll post. Oh, another thought. Could it be the net framnework is causing the conflict? the beta ver [which works fine] doesn't require that. Peter North.

i need a NED player or I need a refund. this is utterly ridiculous. it would have been easier & less of a headache if you had just made a simple DVD of the tutorials, not a SCAM worthy program. again, I need my a NED player.
