Please sign below if you wish to see a 64-bit compatible version of NED for Windows 7.

UPDATE (JAN 6TH, 2012):

We currently have no plans to develop a new Windows version for NED. I am sorry to say this as I want it as much as you do and the current version is inadequate. Please keep signing this thread as that does have an effect on the decision making process. There will be minimal debate on the topic as we will not be checking this thread very often. I will put any updates to this topic in this post.

Thanks.

Although it seems like a good initiative (even though I bought a product without being told I won't be able to use it), I don't know how many customers you have and on these customers, how many frequent the forums or would even be bothered to post something...

An upgraded NED or a way to view ALREADY purchased material on W7 64-bit should not be the subject of a petition but a good business practice to deliver on promises.

Signed but with the same concerns as Akarin had.

You recently sent an email with a poll attached to it. I was a bit surprised that in the poll there was no question about the 64 bit platforms, only if one uses Mac or Windows computer.

Would be great if you'd just update NED. You'll have to do it anyway at some point, because more and more people are changing their OS to 64 bit Windows.

But yeah, keep on doing the great tutorials and hopefully they will be available for download to even more customers in the near future.

Yes, signed. Doubt this will make much of a difference, but worth a try.

Would think that Win 7 64-bit version be a no brainer since 90%+ of all PCs now purchased contain the 64-bit version. Please ceate a 64-bit version of N.E.D.!!

So... It's been 1,5 months. What's up?

Got an email from Martin Silver today with 2 announcements. Neither was that Ned is (finally) supporting 64 bit windows. I really can not join the promotion of your blog before HD downloads are for 64 bit windows also.

Hi Rationalizer,

- "So... It's been 1,5 months. What's up?"

We're busy and hard at work thanks. Hope all is good with you.

- "Got an email from Martin Silver today with 2 announcements."

That's Martin Sitter btw ;-)

- "Neither was that Ned is (finally) supporting 64 bit windows. I really can not join the promotion of your blog before HD downloads are for 64 bit windows also."

Sure I understand your sentiment... but the MPV Blog has nothing to do with NED for Windows. There's a massive (and growing) library of written software tips and tricks there you can access there on iPad, iPhone, Mac and PC - seems a shame to miss out on this...

Best
