Well, will it? I'm going away for a week on holiday and that would be a perfect opportunity to take in some tutorials that I've bought. Only thing is I won't be connected to the net. I have a Laptop which has XP Mode installed so I'm wondering if NED will work in that.

Cheers

Hi Mark,

NED works great in Windows XP. Please use your XP PC and then follow the instructions on this page for NED for Windows:

Thanks

Hi, thanks for the reply. I realise that NED will work on a XP machine but I will be running XP MOde with my Windows 7 64bit laptop. As I believe 64bit is the issue, will NED fucntion in the virtual XP PC environment?

What the hell, I'll give it a go today and see what happens.

Cheers

Mark

Hi Mark,

I'm not sure how that'll work on Win 7 in XP emulation mode. To be honest I'm 100% Mac based so can't test it out.

Hope you get it to work, otherwise do contact out Support team who will try their best to help:

I just installed XP Mode on my Windows 7 64bit laptop. It took a good bit of time to get it working properly.

For NED to work you have to run Windows
Update a few times to get all the .NET updates installed and working properly.

You also have to install the latest QuickTime player.

Once everything is installed and configured, NED works just fine.

Keep in mind that you also have to install your virus software in XP Mode. It's like configuring a separate computer.
