Can't download purchase

I just purchased the Native Instruments Maschine bundle, and when trying to download I get an error message:

"Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Illegal characters in path."

When I click "Continue" it freezes and never downloads. I've downloaded other tutorials with no issues.

exactly the same problem here. I, too, have lots of other videoes from Macpro that have downloaded without a problem so this is tied to the maschine video suite

Back again,

going to admin and turning maschine quick start video off allows downloading of maschine simpler and masterclass videos.

So there is an error in unpacking the quickstart video.

I have heard nothing from support yet. I am concerned that this video download error was reported by Draconian55 in August and has not yet been corrected at MacPro

Neil - thanks for the tip. At least I was able to download 2 of the 3 videos now. The response from support on 8/29 was this:

"We are aware of this issue that is affecting Windows users only.
We should be able to fix this shortly.

In the meantime, please log in your account on our website and press the "Watch Tutorials" button. You will be able to stream the tutorial in the NEDweb window."

So I guess we wait for a bit and see what happens.

And thank you too for that excellent tip re watching the the Quick Start video.

the video still refuses to download so either the problem is harder for Macpro to fix or no one is doing so. I have sent two emails to support and get an automated response immediately but so far no one from support has made contact.

Today I got a Macpro email asking me to review Maschine QuickStart.

I decided to send the review because it is proof-read for approval before being published - so maybe pointing out the problem will get a working product.

I had to rate it 1 which is Worst.
This is unfair to Matt from NI but Macpro is part of the package and their help has been non-existant.

Yes. We got it working after 2 of our tech support team and one of our development team were able to troubleshoot and solve the particular issue on friday.
