If you are experiencing issues with installing Windows NED, please run through these steps.

1. Make sure you have the most recent version of QuickTime installed.
http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/

2. For XP users, please make sure you've got the .NET Framework 2.0 update installed.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0856eacb-4362-4b0d-8edd-aab15c5e04f5&displaylang=en

3. Are you using a unzipping program (i.e. WinZip)? If so, this sometimes creates issues with installation. Instead please follow these steps:

~Right-click on the NED_Windows.zip (located in your default download location)
~Select "Explore" to bring up a regular Explorer window
~In this window, you will see the NED_Windows folder, double click it.
~You will see a number of files, including "Setup.exe"; double-click this setup file.

NED should install now with no errors.

If you still run into issues, please contact support using the support form:

Hi Mirek,

Hope you're still enjoying the PT8 203 videos :)

It should not need to download the tuts again. It should be able to read the existing tutorial files from their location.

However, I'm not a Windows NED user ;-)

Hi Mirek!

Just to let you know, I'm loving the new NED 3.1's features. Do you have an iPhone? If so, then you may enjoy being able to view your tuts on the go v.soon. (Probably best not to watch them whilst driving! ;)

I'm sure it'll work fine. You can transfer the .prgm NED files from your Mac to your PC and tell NED on the PC not to download anything - well... first to check where the tutorial files are store.

You can drop a line to Support to find out more about the best way to set up NED on your PC if you like. Also, good idea anyways would be to backup your system. I do this whenever I install software... though funnily enough, not NED, because it just always works fine for me!

:)

I dont see it mentined anywhere that Windows doesnt sync to iPhone through NED! Why? & if it is, its certianly not obvious. First time using this NED universe, found it very confusing, slow and VERY unecessary.. In fact NED doesnt even work in my MacPro! (Cannot complete the download.. NO ITS NOT MY ROUTER!) Why didnt MacVideoPro use iTunes? FAR EASIER!

Hi,

If you click on the 'About" page:
http://www.macprovideo.com/about
you will see three aspects of NED.

Click on NEDi (iPhone & iPodTouch Tutorial player)

and under requirements for both versions is info for Windows users:

1.2 : "Only tutorial streaming
is available to Windows users - Tutorial Sync is unavailable"

1.1 : "Tutorial sync is currently unavailable to Windows users."

Thanks for the feedback. NED 1.2 is coming soon :)

Regarding your MacPro issue, we can't help you with this issue unless you give us more information and describe the procedures you have followed.

Please feel free to contact our Support Team for further assistance:

Rounik,

the procedures I followed were the ones set out on your website! That's what my procedures were!

It downloaded about 20 files then stopped then downloaded one more and then never downloaded again!

I've already downloaded then to my windows vista machine so at least I can view the product I purchased. However I didn't realise as it wasn't made obvious that there is no iPhone sync facility here. So.. I redownloaded to my MacPro as per your procedures, and thus the download issues. I decided to delete the application completely from my mac and just vew the tutorials on my Vista machine.

I still think it would have been far easier to have used iTunes as this is universal. Also means two apps to install.
