I have a basic problem with syncing up iPhone NEDi2 to Intel MacPro NED 3.2.2.
Have Ethernet LAN where MacPro is connected, also connected to LAN router is an Apple Airport Express base station (the wall plug air itunes variety). My iPhone sees the wireless signal from the Airport base station. The MacPro has no built in wireless but sees the Airport base station via Ethernet for set up duties. Why, in Ned 3.2 can the iPhone not be seen as a device? In fact there is no device list, just N.E.D.I. I am so confused by this. Surely the same Ethernet network would allow the items to be seen?
Help very grateful

Hi Guy,

Welcome to the macProVideo forums :)

I beleive NEDi and NED (iPhone and Mac) must be connect wirelessly over WiFi to enable you to sync tutorials...

At least this was the case with NEDi V1. As a result your MacPro would need to connected to your router wirelessly (not via ethernet) for it to communicate with NEDi on your iPhone.

I have a feeling this may be a limitation of the iPhone itself... in which 3rd party apps cannot sync via USB or ethernet but I'm not 100% sure about this.

Do drop a line to our Support team as well who have more up-to-date info available.

Hope this helps,
