Update.

NED for iPad has been submitted and is currently in review with Apple. We're hoping for a quick review process =)

Hello Squishacorn,

First thanks for your post and kind words... secondly please accept my apologises as your post appeared twice in this thread (a duplicate of the first). As you appear to have two accounts, our forum system displayed it twice under two different names...

In my general house-tidy mode I deleted the duplicate, but unfortunately, the original was deleted as well because our system's database could differentiate between the two... sound odd... well the short of it is I'm sorry that your post was deleted by mistake :(

Best
Rounik

p.s. to everyone else... We'll definitely be letting you know as soon as NED.pad is released! I personally can't wait...

Another ten days without having the iPad Version reviewed. Must be a very complicated process.

... or does nedipad don't follow the terms of regulation

Hi nightflight707,

The App Store Approval process is not something we have any control over... Apple have massively reduced the wait times for approval since the App store was introduced. I remember stories about some developers waiting for months.

Although that's all changed and improved now, Apple's App approval process takes as long as it takes and is out of our hands.

10 days is not a long time though. I think 2-3 weeks might be standard these days - especially considering it's summer time.

:)

Hello rounik,

My post was not intended to blame you on that delay. :-) I am an iOs developer also and know about the time Apple takes, but i've got some Statements in my ear from the last "Steve Jobs Show" regarding this issue...

Let's pretend summer is a good reason ;-)

Still crossing my fingers. It seems like its been forever already.

The approval process is a shot in the dark. Depends on your app, your company, the moon cycle, coffee breaks, summer vacations, etc etc.

=)

yes.... the moon cycle... completely forgot to figure that in to the equation... and we're not in a leap year right, so that might help too ;-)

My fingers are itching to download NED.pad too :)

Just gonna say that I was sitting in a restaurant today with my iPad 3G, watching videos off the Ned webserver.

I had to pinch myself because I thought I was dreaming. This is the coolest thing ever. You guys rock. Thanks so much for this.

Btw, the App+Downloads might be great, but that streaming video package? unbeatable with the iPad 3G.

iPad + NEDweb is indeed a winning combination! I love it too. Talk about learning on the move... the iPad seems perfectly suited to macProVideo tutorials also.

Can't wait for NED.pad...

Success!

Happened to check in on the site, saw it was approved, and just found it in the app store with a search from my iPad.

Great news - the iPhone was too small for the content, and my best time to view these is on the subway.

Look out Lynda.com. You guys have a really great advantage by allowing for offline viewing.

thanks!
