Slick but can't use yet

I'm optimistic my issues will be ironed out. But so far can't use my tuts.

I synced one tutorial. Noticed there is no progress indicator, and I got a phone call so couldn't complete the sync. All the chapter headings are on my iPhone in red, but nothing plays.

I go back into NED and press Sync to complete and nothing happens.

Trashed preferences, restarted, still no activity.

Help please

Hi ngoldpdx,

N.E.D.i is similar to N.E.D. in the way that non existant videos are displayed as red. Did you try clicking sync again. The sync process will continue from where it was interrupted upon the next sync.

maybe something is happening, but I get no indication on the Mac or iPhone that syncing is continuing. When I first synced there was no progress indicator, as in the tutorial movie.

You might want to try clicking the check box to disable the tutorial you are wanting to sync. Then pressing sync. And then re enabling the tutorial to sync. It could be that there was an error in the initial transfer.

I'm probably a unique case. I have a support email dialog going on, but haven't heard back yet. Just to fill you in:

I had manually moved my vids to an external firewire drive and changed then changed the Preference pointing to that folder. I should have used the Move tutorial. I was then showing doubles of my tutorials (some in red) and then contacted support. I followed the suggestion and deleted preferences, etc.

For some reason only 8 or the 10 tuts that I have on the drive are showing up. When I click the download button (all checked) nothing happens.

This is before NEDi, which I was excited to try. Hope the above details help troubleshooting my situation.

I have deleted preferences a couple times so don't know where to go from here. Maybe a clean install?

I have the exact same problem... I can see my device and I entered the sync code but none of the tuts upload to my ipod touch.

By the way, my touch is one of the 1st generation touches.

In the progress bar at the bottom of NED on my mac it say uploading video but I dont get the progress bar you show in your video, just a swirling blue line... like it's thinking about it.

I cancelled sync and re synced but same issue.
