No sound from downloaded tutorials

I am new iPhone user - very excited, an incredible machine! I have the 4S 64 Gg version, with iOS 5.0.1. I downloaded NEDi v2.2.1, then all my Tutorials. I can access my tutorials, and play them, but I can't hear them.

The audio on the iPhone works fine when I am using it to play iTunes songs, or when I am using it as a cell phone - but.... no audio for my MacProVideos. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Please make sure that the physical mute switch is not enabled on your iPhone...

also double-check that the volume is turned up by using the physical volume + button on the iPhone.

Sorry if you've already tried this... but it's always worth checking :)

Thanks.... with some embarrassment.... The mute switch was it! Like I said I am a new iPhone user, and now I know about the mute switch. Again. Thanks. PS... I am a big fan of your tutorials.

No problem!! I'm glad you got it working.

Some apps like iTunes ignore whether the iPhone's mute switch is active... but NEDi notices these things ;-)

I've tried a half dozen "no sound" video tutorials before finding this thread.

I'd say "most apps" ignore the mute switch, not just "some" as stated above. So, I assumed it was the NED Apps fault.
