NEDweb doesn't work. Can't scroll down to view more than the first several tutorials, and when I click on them, they show the play arrow with a slash through it, like how unviewable YouTube videos look on the iPhone.
I'll try NEDi; haven't used that on the iPhone, might give it a spin on the ipad.
NEDi works well. Videos play and look ok but obviously not very high resolution. Definitely looking forward to seeing an iPad specific app, as a device it's perfect for this kind of application as you can view it side by side with your music computer, much easier to follow along.
We are working on iPad compatibility, but as we are located in Vancouver, Canada, we do not yet have access to a physical iPad device. The emulator can only emulate so much.
An iPad compatible player is definitely in the works.
Not to push you guys or anything -- you guys make excellent tutorials -- but Vancouver isn't too far away from Washington. It shouldn't be too difficult to get an iPad? I'm sure you guys are Apple fans like the rest of us... and this is "MACprovideo" =)
jmar, i'm sure you are, but again that's why developers had access to iPad SDK for months, and a real iPad could be purchased over the internet. I'm sure MPV has money to-do that, and you wouldn't have to leave vancouver.
In the last month 0.47% of our traffic has come from the iPad ... 70% of our customers are outside of the US which means the vast majority of our customers don't even have access to the devices yet.
Just FYI it's a massive investment in infrastructure and programming to convert our over 10,000 videos in 160+ tutorials into iPad format to satisfy less than a half a percent of our customers ... but we are doing so.
Should have it rolled out by the end of next week ...

To be fair, people wouldn't visit MPV on an iPad if it doesn't work. ;)
Yeah we finally got an iPad up here in Canada last week ... :)
We've been testing with the AV Fundamentals section so you can check that out now. Looks pretty great on the iPad though ... I like the full screen option.
In the next few days we'll be finishing the programming for the menus so you can scroll them with the iPad ... it's coming along ...

True, but they still have to visit MPV to figure out it doesn't work, and that's not happening in droves yet.
However, we're undertaking an across the board review of the site to make it HTML 5 compatible as we want to be on the leading edge as the web switches to this new format ...
